“It stopped here to grab a breakfast sandwich, which is actually better than I expected. It’s one of the better bacon, egg and cheese, on a hard roll sandwich I have had in a long time. This thing was loaded with bacon! I saw them making an Italian combo, and I will be getting that next time I come here for sure. Prices are reasonable and the ladies working here are nice.“
“Fast and friendly service. Had a Reuben (1-6-23, $7.75 total) on rye and it was pretty good (4.5 out of 5), but not the best I've had in my travels. Plenty of meat on the sandwich. Their excellent customer service sets them apart from the rest.“
“I’ve been coming here for breakfast since I moved here a few years back, always great food, friendly service. But today was just A+ customer service so I had to leave a review, I came in for a bacon egg and cheese on a Portuguese roll that I had ordered over the phone a few minutes back. A lady rushed in before me to hand back her opened sandwich to say that it was incorrect - they accidentally gave her my sandwich. Me realizing after walking up to the counter I had asked if he gave her mine and he said yes. I did not to say another peep he rang me up and ran back to make a whole new sandwich on the spot. Thank you to your awesome team.“
“I wish I found this place sooner. Walking in the door, their greeting makes you feel like family and it's obvious they are genuinely happy to have you as a patron. The food is amazing and the prices are reasonable. Been craving a Rueben Sandwich and they didn't disappoint. Perfectly done!“
“Delicious! I’d suggest calling ahead during lunch because they get busy with a lunch rush (good for them!) Everything I ordered was ready in the time they told me to come pickup. The few one star reviews tell more about the person who wrote them than the business itself lol! Will be going back.“
“This establishment is a staple of the town of Bridgewater and for good reason. Aside from the historical significance of the building itself, the food is always delicious, pricing fair, staff genuinely friendly, and atmosphere welcoming. We always feel like we are visiting family when we are here.During warmer weather, there are several tables out front for a nice view of the Town’s main thoroughfare. They stock a generous variety of the mouthwatering Bridgewater Chocolates (of course!), and their store has some light food, treats, and odds & ends. There is also an area with home goods and gifts - all really nice quality.I highly recommend Bridgewater Village Store & Bistro for a tasty meal, or as a spot to stock up on some food and drinks for a road trip or drive around town.“
“When I discovered Roxbury Market in the eighties, it soon became one of my favorite destinations. I lived in Bethel, but I’d drive up to Roxbury several times a week for sandwiches. It was remodeled sometime in the nineties, and the small back room had tables to enjoy meals with friends. We’d meet there by Jeep, motorcycle, or whatever and sit for an hour sharing a great sandwich, coffee and soft drinks. I moved to Florida in 2004 and miss the Marketplace. But we manage to visit at least once a year when we come back to Roxbury in autumn.“
“They make the BEST Italian Combo around. It’s made correctly and they don’t skimp on the cold cuts like some places do. The bread is incredibly soft and delicious. I won’t go anywhere else for an Italian Combo! The pernil and rice are also delicious. Highly recommend. So happy to have them in town!“
