“This is my second five star review of the month. If you know anything about my reviews, you know that I’m pretty strict with how I review my food choices. Was going by this place at 6:30 AM and greeted with a very kind and happy person.The manager or owner was super friendly with me, explained everything to me and even gave me a few toppings on the house because it was my first time. I got an açai bowl that knocked my socks off. It was full of great granola and seeds and peanut butter. I couldn’t have asked for a better breakfast. And top it all off. They had great strong coffee. I’m super happy with the experience I had at blend healthy spot. I will definitely highly recommend this to anyone that’s looking for a great healthy alternative for breakfast.“

“This review is a part of my quest of visiting all CT breweries. I visited Twelve Percent several times before and my experience was consistently high all the times. This is a contract brewery, so in fact it serves beers from multiple smaller brewers.

The brewery occupies a big separate building. It has a huge indoor space with no separation and a patio. There are multiple seating options inside the building including couches. No food is served, but the food trucks are usually onsite. They also have many different events in the brewery including rare ones like Homebrewer competition. The space might become a little crowded in the evening and you might encounter a limited seating.

The beers in this brewery are simply amazing. Everything I tried during my visits was exceptional. Plus I love Imperial stouts and not many breweries bother to brew them, but you can always find them here. It's hard to recommend anything specific as it is safe to just grab anything, but I particularly enjoyed Neil's French Toast Donut Stout (Imperial Stout) from Front Porch due to its rich and complex taste of a coffee donut. Beer flights are not served, but you can order a short pour of 6oz to try more beers.

I do recommend this place to anyone who loves good beer.“

“Love love love this place. I have spent so many hours hanging out here. In the morning it’s so fun to come sit on the couch and read a book — the coffee is delicious! And the coffee menu is really cool and fun. Any latte here is a win. And Hanna is the most incredible and friendliest barista!! It’s also a really fun vibe in the afternoon to come for a beer and hangs. They have vegetarian options for food usually and a great food truck outside. I am all about aesthetic and this place crosses all the t’s and dots all the i’s. My new go-to spot!!“

“There is no doubt that Gouveia is photographer’s dream, and as full-time wedding photographers, we have captured engagements and even surprise proposals here on the beautiful property. Whenever a client asks about a nice view in the hills, a vineyard or winery, something that feels almost like Europe, we tell them we should go here! We love how much the owners and staff allow us to use the property with ease. The scenic vineyard looks like a perfect set was constructed for us, and the long leading lines of the rows and driveway all help our captures. We love going by the pond with couples, too, making it feel even more like we have transported to somewhere that isn’t Connecticut. It’s never a problem having other visitors there, or being able to hide and then catch the moment the proposal is happening. You can blend in and then pop out with any family or friends to the jubilant couple, moving right into the engagement session on the perfect property for it. Sunsets are always because of the clouds, and if you hit the right evening, it can be unforgettable here. The couples all grab some glasses at some point as well and love the offerings Gouveia has in all regards. Really top notch imo. I had a snafu and forgot to add a topping on a gh order. They let me call in and modify and pay cash at pickup. They didn't want to take my money on arrival which was nice of them. Tip your people, everyone!

The slice was great. Big flop because it had toppings, but it held beautifully. Great char on the bottom and that razor thin apizza crust. Toppings up to the edge. Good pie. I don't think it's wood or coal fired, but the got the temp right in that oven for sure. Good fresh ingredients!“
