An old fashion sports pub with decent food. They serve bowls of popcorn while waiting for service. Service can initially be slow but food is generous and good. My husband and I like the steak sandwiches and burgers. Onion rings are delicious. Prices are relatively good.

I will begin by saying fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. Yes, we have had horrible experiences before but live in Clinton and it was late so didn't want to drive far and thought would give it another try. Big mistake...huge! Again, the owners of Ciao own this now and should be ashamed of themselves. 1. Simple mistake...I ordered a diet coke with a lime...came with a lemon. No big deal butttt 2. Ordered pretzel bites and was asked if wanted honey mustard or yellow mustard...ordered yellow...came with honey and the pretzel bites were a pretzel cut up in small pieces and tasted awful. Strike 2. 3. Husband had fish and chips and it started with a salad. Served salad...no silverware. We were waitresses ONLY table and she dropped the salad and went and sat down at a table with her boyfriend/husband!! My husband had to get up and leave the table and go to the bar and ask for silverware! When the waitress came back over to check on the salad my husband mentioned not getting silverware and she said "we had cleared the tables because the kitchen is closing soon" ???? It was 8 :15 p.m. and she had brought drinks, plates and napkins AND a salad at this point so...huh??? Big strike 3...huge! I should add that our pretzels were served by someone from the kitchen and when we asked the the yellow mustard we ordered he brought a bottle of French's!! 4. Had to ask for drink refills strike 4. 5. Food was subpar. Chicken in the wrap was old and dry. Fish and chips were greasy and fries were cold. Strike 5. At the bottom of the bill is printed suggestions for 20%, 22% and 25% tips!!!!! Really? They are suggesting a tip of a quarter of your bill for this experience...or any for that matter!! Strike 6. 6 strikes! You have 2 outs now!! Wont return!!

Chef Microwave is doing the cooking. Our chili came out tepid and the bread pudding was barely warm with cold spots. The wing special is okay. A lot of sauces to choose from.Small bar area with an adjacent dining room.Parking in rear of building.Parking: free parking in rear lot.

The place can get very loud if you are sitting in the bar area but that is to be expected. Don't know if the noise carries to the dining area since it's a glass wall separating them. We are retired happy hour folks so we enjoy trying different places. We enjoyed the atmosphere as well as what we ordered. We had the beef nachos which was enough for 3+ people and the cheeseburger wrap. They were delicious and would absolutely order again. The drinks and service were also a 4 star.

I love going to Chips. I have been going here for years. My most recent time was in June which these pictures are from. Our server was fantastic and unfortunately I cannot recall her name offhand. We almost had her convinced to join our Book Club. lol she was super friendly, very knowledgeable and funny. We all ordered different salads. I ordered the cob. Unfortunately I do not recall what my friends had ordered but I did take pictures of them.
