“We recently found Lee's and have been back 3 times in the last month because it is so good, by far the best Chinese food in the area. We love the crab rangoons, the pork fried rice, boneless pork spare ribs, and the sweet and sour chicken as staples. We've also tried the lo-mein, General Tso chicken, Mongolian beef, Mei Fun, and the fried dumplings. All are very good and we would recommend. Looking forward to exploring the rest of the menu! I was super impressed by how clean the kitchen which I could see from the counter looked. The portions are large and we eat for several meals on the leftovers. Offers takeout only. Not on major delivery apps like Doordash and Ubereats which is a shame.“

“Thank you to Motta’s Bakery for making a last minute birthday cake for my son’s 9th birthday! A local grocery store cancelled our custom cake with less than 24 hours notice and Motta’s saved the day. The family and staff at the bakery were accommodating, understanding and very kind. My son loved his cake and it tasted amazing! Thank you!“

“I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the building is gorgeous :-) The wine is delicious and they even have selections of beer for the hubbies :-) You can bring some food and enjoy your wine. Also, if you are lucky, you can get to meet their Blue Heeler mascot with the softest fur and adorable little personality. The owners are great people and real salt-of-the-Earth types. Also, the wines are superb and he has a great talent for vinting. I need to go back for the Strawberry Rhubarb wine soon, the bluberry was great with a nice tartness to it... you can't go wrong.“

“Our recent school staff's Christmas celebration was an amazing success due to the wonderful amenities provided by this establishment. Their service staff were so attentive to everybody's needs and their courteous service made me feel right at home. Let's not forget the delicious food served in their buffet line! The buffalo wings, drumsticks, and pulled pork were so delicious, it was impossible to resist countless returns to the buffet line. The space that my school was allowed to use was adequately spacious and comfortable for the group size of over 40 in attendance. There was even space available for a small musical ensemble to perform and dance floor to jam to the music. Restroom facilities were kept in utmost state of cleanliness! Hops44 is certainly a place to go to with family or for special celebrations. I'm grateful for the positive experience your staff was able to provide and for the delicious food served at this restaurant. Keep up the awesome work You're doing!“

That being said, I must say that this is an amazing place to eat. The portions are amazing and so is the taste. The atmosphere reminds me of what a diner should be. This evening my wife and I decided to dine in and the experience was better than expected! We had Samosas, Thai noodles, Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Tikka Masala, and Naan. The service was friendly and attentive. The owner/chef came out to our table to ask how everything was. What I told him is what I'm telling all of you. This is the best Indian food I've had to date! I have a strong culinary background and highly recommend you put this place on a short list of great food destinations! In the past we've had curry lamb, tomato soup, tom yam soup, lolipop chicken, fried rice, and aloo paratha. Make your way through the whole menu, you won't be disappointed!“

“My husband and I went to the restaurant for the first time last night. When we got there, we found that they could only do take out at the present time. There was a nice gentleman (cook) and he told us they need waiters/ host before they can get back to the way things were before COVID. We placed our order and told it would be ready in 30 minutes. The plus side is, they have to cook everything "made to order" so our food was nice and fresh and DELICIOUS!! Hopefully now that UCONN is back in session they will get some good employees and be able to have "dine-in" again.“

“Found this place after leaving a Ren. Fair, but we were pleasantly surprised! The food was phenomenal, I got a Philly cheesesteak w/ fries, my wife got Blacked Chicken Penne, and my god - the blackened chicken penne was TO DIE FOR. If I was a prisoner about to be led to the electric chair, this blackened chicken penne would be my choice for last meal. This dish was incredible, super tasty, very good sized portion, with just a little hint of spice. It is an explosion of deliciousness.

I saw some of the previous reviews as we were stepping in and was apprehensive about the food but we had no issues with the food or service. Everything was served hot and our server lady was gave us friendly and quick service. “I came here last night for the first time after a recommendation and so glad we did cause they did not disappoint. The decor is a little dated however we have the nicest waitress Natasha who made the evening so great. She was very prompt and friendly and really funny. The food portions were a generous size and everything we had was really good. We never once asked for water refills, she just kept them coming. Amazing staff. Amazing food. Will be returning to our new local favorite spot in the very near future and hopefully will get the same amazing waitress.“

“I've ordered from Illiano's in Norwich and Colchester and can only speak to the pizza but, Oh my goodness! There is such a difference in the two restaurants and this one is world's above the other. The sicilian style here is incredible, Thick crust, loaded with cheese and a pie that nearly touches the sides of the box it is so thick and big. Norwich serves something comparable to a pizza hut crust and comes nowhere near filling the box while skimping on the cheese. The stuffed Meatlover's here is magnificent, something almost like a stromboli stuffed with all the delicious meat ingredients you can envision. The Norwich variety is stuffed about half as full and for whatever reason tastes as if it is 80% italian sausage. If you live close to both or if you're only familiar with Norwich, please, try Colchester. It is easily twice the quality. Keep up the great work!!“

“My family was passing through the area and we decided to stop. We were not disappointed. The gluten free pizza was excellent! The veal piccata and penne alla vodka were delicious. The chicken parm sub was cooked perfectly with a lightly toasted roll. And the chick-fil-A quesadillas were tasty with a hint of sweet. We all also took home leftovers for a good price. It was so good that if we are passing through again we will definitely stop here!!“
