“We stopped here during a road trip and it was so delicious! Their lunch specials are amazing - we enjoyed special rolls and classic rolls. I loved the spicy yellowtail roll. Our daughter had her favorite pan fried gyoza here and they gave her chopsticks for kids and a lollipop after the meal. It was a beautiful restaurant and very family friendly. The service was excellent and the sushi was fantastic - we’ll definitely stop during our next road trip! Thank you for a delicious meal.“

“Called in advance to see if they had nut free options for a friend who has a free nut allergy , but I wanted to take him for ice cream. The gentleman working was so helpful and let us know that they have separate nut free cases of ice cream and a totally separate case with the “nut friendly” ice creams. The scoopers don’t cross contaminate so it was super safe for our friend. Gentleman was super friendly when we arrived and ice cream was delicious. Tons of choices and variety!“

“Very homey feel here. Service was fast from the woman at the front who tended to multiple people. The value was excellent for breakfast, where I ordered from one of their deals. Ordered scrambled eggs with sausage and it came with toast (4 pieces), juice, and coffee. Very affordable and I'd recommend coming here. There's a parking garage and street parking on the hill to the right of this restaurant (free on Sundays).“

“I stopped by Caribbean Bakery & Mini Mart for dinner and went straight for their oxtail with rice & peas and veggies. The plate was huge, and you could smell the seasoning before it even hit the table. The oxtail was flavorful, tender, and coated in a rich sauce that really pulled the dish together. The rice was fluffy, the peas earthy, and everything had that authentic homemade Caribbean taste.

If I had one wish, it would be for the oxtail pieces to be a little meatier — because the flavor had me wanting more. Portion-wise though, they don’t skimp, and everything tasted fresh.

Service was straightforward, the spot has that local charm, and it’s definitely worth checking out if you’re craving real Caribbean flavor in the area. One heads-up: parking can be tough, especially earlier in the day, so plan ahead.

“Cozy cafe in the heart of downtown Stamford with such a relaxing ambience. The colors, decor, abundance of outlets, and strong Wifi make this an ideal study spot. On top of that, the service is excellent and the food is delicious! A variety of snacks, desserts, drinks, and meals. Highly recommend.“

“Great location in a lively, redeveloped section of Stamford. We had an event with a fixed price menu and each course was amazingly good. Come hungry, because they give you a lot of food. “Few restaurants are consistently better on every visit, Capers is one. We went with another couple for dinner. Wine was Ken Wright Pinot Noir-excellent. Appetizers were Squid and Tricolore Salad. Salad was very good, didn't try the Squid, but it smelled incredible. Entrees were Chicken Martini, Mussels, Short Ribs and Yellowfin tuna.- all very good. Service is great.“

I personally enjoyed the Spring Bowl with Tofu, which was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. I also tried the Pitaya Island and it was an absolute must-try – such a delightful treat! The owner, Alyssa, is very friendly and was an absolute pleasure to meet. Her warm hospitality made our visit even more special. If you're in the area, Greens on the Go is definitely worth a visit. The exterior has so much character. The open courtyard is adorable, makes you want to write an obscure novel while sitting here. The interior is also adorable, it’s clean charming, and big. I get a vanilla latte everywhere I go and this was one of my favorites, not sure what syrup they use but it’s not too sweet which is the best. People were here working, and chatting. They have the newspaper and WiFi. Love this place.

“First time eating here. Appreciate the order kiosk, so that I can make sure my order is entered correctly. Food (burger, fries and shake) were presented to me as ordered and were pretty good tastewise. Entered the premises at about 7:15 on a Friday night, so there was a lot of traffic. They have an outdoor eating area that appeared pleasant, although we stayed inside to track our order and decided to remain in place once it arrived. Wait was long (15-20 minutes) but that's not a surprise considering the time of day. The staff appeared to be going all out to get the orders through, so kudos to them. Will definitely consider returning here if in the area. Restaurant is located in a shopping center, just off of 287, so there is plenty of parking.“
