I stumbled upon Preli's Farm and Winery in my search for grape leaves for a batch of homemade dolmas. John the owner was very helpful and understanding, and thus began my loyalty.

Everything grown or made on the farm is a treat. From delicious heirloom tomatoes to giant fresh blackberries to the vast catalog of wines and ciders... I've never been disappointed.

It's clear that John, Jeanne, Bailey and the crew work their hardest to create such an impressive selection of products. I've made it my goal to visit a few times a month!

The farm itself is tranquil and inviting and the service is always top notch. Any time I've visited, I felt welcomed. Having their three-legged farm dog Daisy greet me upon arrival has brought me happiness every time!

I meet the new chef Mike, it was reallly cool that he came and talked to us, he said all of his specials are made from scratch and both the salmon bites and hulk burger were some of the best things I’ve eaten in a long time. “The food is delicious. The restaurant is clean and the staff are very nice. The seating feels like being in a living room of a home in Middle East, cozy and welcoming. I just think that it would be best if the tables were a little higher and if they turn the TV on or play some music to break the silence because it doesn't feel like you can have private talk when it's dead silence. I suggest something like a soft music may be with a show of Middle East paysage.“

Jonathan did a great job of recreating my favorite basil martini that Linda perfected years ago. Our meal, punctuated by treats from the family farm, was excellent. Our service by Abby was terrific. The zucchini flowers appetizer impeccably balanced the tender flowers and tasty cheese. My husband's roasted cod and summer vegetables were great as was my Veal Milanese. The bowl brings me back memories of when I first had a pokebowl.

The portions were generous, and all the mix-ins and proteins were thoroughly mixed with the sauces instead of the past few times where they just squirted sauces on top.

I would have to say if this is not under ownership, whoever made my bowl around 12:45pm on 7/1/25 should get a well deserved praise.

I have given up on Pokemoto on middletown and decided to order here on a whim but pleasantly surprised the change in quality (for good)

Definitely ordering more if this is the new standard.“

So next time you go, make sure you ask for Taylor, but if you’re a regular, you already know how nice she is, but for those who are looking for a good place to eat or get a little tipsy, see if Taylor is there, also a quick little secret is to TIP GOOD! But yet again, make sure the best bartender is around, but don’t worry, the others are good too, if I could leave Taylor a 10 out of 5 star rating, I would!“
