We are never ever disappointed coming here. The food is fresh and so delicious always.
We’ve been going here for at least a decade, but this is our first time leaving a review. It’s an excellent restaurant — cozy and comfortable, with a great mix of Japanese dishes, including traditional sashimi and sushi, along with some fun and creative specialty rolls. They also have a menu of traditional Korean dishes, which are excellent.

The Cherry Bloom roll was excellent, service friendly. Definitely visit again.

Edo is a small but popular family-owned restaurant in Danbury that offers a variety of delicious Japanese and Korean dishes. The menu features fresh, crunchy vegetables, tofu, and fried eggs in the brown rice gobdol, as well as excellent sushi that is beautifully presented and tastes amazing. Many visitors find everything to be incredibly fresh and of high quality. The owner is very nice and the staff is friendly and accommodating, providing great service. The restaurant also offers gluten-free options. The cozy atmosphere makes it a perfect place for conversation while enjoying the meal. Since space is limited, it’s best to make a reservation, especially on busy nights. Parking is available on the side of the building in an adjacent lot. Kids are welcome, and guests can bring their own drinks. The overall dining experience is highly recommended for authentic flavors. Edo is considered a hidden gem in Danbury, and many guests have returned numerous times, noting that the Boolgogi and Jaeyuk-gooi are absolutely delicious.
