Lakeview Pizza Pasta Gourmet is a wonderful, family-run Italian restaurant that feels both fresh and familiar. It is a reinvention of a former space and has quickly become a neighborhood favorite. The exterior and interior have been completely renovated, resulting in a space that is fresh, modern, clean, and comfortable, with a genuinely welcoming warmth. Its prime location next to PAL and directly across from the lake makes it especially appealing.
The food is classic Italian done right with generous portions. The pizza is a standout, described as amazing, not greasy or oily, perfect, and not heavy. Toppings are abundant and delicious on a crust that is thin and crispy, or with just the right amount of crunch and bite in a not too thin crust. Specific meals praised include the excellent Chicken Parmigiana and Margherita Pizza, as well as the excellent meatballs and spaghetti. The menu offers lots of choices. The restaurant accommodates dining in with four tables and also offers take-out, delivery, and catering. It is considered the best around, a wonderful new favorite, and a go-to spot for honest Italian food that exceeds expectations.
