“We just took 4 kids for pizza and to play in arcade. From the moment we walked in till the time we left could not have been MORE enjoyable! Everyone was so nice! The service was perfect the food was good. And the arcade man was extremely generous. Even when I tried to play a game that someone already won the prize 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ hilarious. Thank you vans“

“Gisellas has been our favorite go to Italian restaurant in DANBURY since it opened. Food is always delicious and consistent and the wait staff couldn’t be more accommodating. Unfortunately last night we had a different experience the moment we walked in the door. Hostess was very unfriendly and dismissive, no eye contact and acted like she was doing us a favor seating us! Thankfully, like always, the rest of our dining experience was amazing!“

“I’m a tenant in the 400 plus units at Abbey Woods - just a mile from the restaurant and definitely NOT in favor of your delivery policy.
I have to meet your driver 3 stories down at the front door because they will not come in the building to deliver/ your place is the restaurant in town that has this ridiculous idea of how to do business! It definitely affects me as to where I’m going to order from as I’m sure other tenants feel the same way.
Having said that - I think I just had the BEST meatball grinder that I’ve had in years.
I think I would use you more often if only you allowed your delivery folks to use the elevator 🤔🤔“

“TakeOut Pizza. I am a real foody. Come from NYC. This is the closest thing to NYC pizza I've had since moving to Putnam, then Westchester, and now Fairfield county. Always on time for take out. Pizza well made. Any issues are resolved without difficulty and with apologies. LOVE IT. I have not tried any other meals since I am a home chef and eat this pizza when in a pinch.“

The private event space was ideal, spacious, welcoming, and flexible enough for us to personalize with our own decor. The food was delicious. The service was top-notch and the atmosphere made everyone feel at home. I wouldn’t hesitate to return for another celebration. “Don't get a sandwich that you know is covered in sauce delivered if you're going to complain about it being soggy. Don't order a pizza like this in Connecticut if you can't handle relatively thin crust. Don't give local businesses bad reviews based on one questionable experience you had. So many of the bad reviews on this are for the pettiest things when, in reality, this is the best pizza you're going to get in this town (and I'd wager it's cheaper than Pepe's). Don't get me wrong, Pepe's is good, but every Pepe's location outside the original in New Haven isn't anything special and Soho provides as good if not better pizza at a similar if not lower price compared to the satellite locations (like the Danbury one). Also this is definitely local and Pepe's isn't so much. Support local and exercise sanity. This place is good“

“We moved into the area about a month ago and tried this place recently. The place has been here a long time but it looks like a hole in the wall sort of place.

We went for lunch. Sandwhiches were pretty good and reasonable. Just not something I would personally go out of my way for. I'm still exploring the area so I may come back down the line.“

Perfect crust. Not too thick or thin that's lightly crisp and doesn't flop.
The sauce is very flavorful, perhaps a little on the sweet side.
Generous selection of fresh, quality toppings.
The cheese was perfect without the too often unwelcome excessive grease.

“We had delivery of Chicken cacciatore and its the best we've had in yrs! Giving it 5 stars. Has that homemade flavor and taste! Order some parmesan garlic bread with it too. Comes with a roll and salad but their parmesan garlic bread is great with it. We've had their grinders, and large salads. This is the way one would expect out of grandma's/ nana's kitchen. Try for dessert their chocolate mousse! Decadent. Oh anyone that likes chocolate ought try this! All desserts are great! Thank you Sal's people!“

“Honestly this is amazing pizza! I love the variety of pizzas that they offer! Excellent service every time! It’s a nice , clean restaurant. They used to have a few tables for customers to eat in, but they renovated at some point in the past & do not have seating anymore. They offer delivery or pickup. Their Desert Pizza (chocolate) is INCREDIBLE! I drive an hour just to but their pizza, it’s that good! I’ve never seen desert pizzas or other varieties they have anywhere else. I definitely recommend this pizza!!!! 🍕“
