“We were here for half price sushi night (every Monday& Tuesday). They are slammed busy in a small dining room but the food comes out lightning fast. The fish portions are noticably smaller and more cucumber and other fillings in the rolls is noticable. But this does not detract from the quality or flavor of the sushi. Overall the service and value is great!“
“So, this the more romantic approach for this review My date and I LOVE sushi, so she suggested Bambu. I've had Bambu before but only from takeout. This time it was to meet with a first date. I walked in and instantly I fell for the entryway. Modern but also had the feeling of nature with the rocky wall and relaxed entrance. My date arrived and we were seated near the bar. The waitress came and took our drink order: a scorpion bowl for two. It came out fast and was very tasty. Warning: the bartender KNOWS how to make a scorpion bowl that doesn't have the alcohol taste or burn. It was very well made and we both enjoyed that. We ordered a lot of sushi... but none of it had rice. Sashimi deluxe, sashimi roll, Naruto roll. The food came fast, the presentation was excellent, but most importantly, EVERYTHING was delicious and fresh. We ate our dinner while also talking and having some laughs, both of us happy about the experience altogether. They lit the fire in the fireplace (the temperature was dropping and it was also very windy), and it got warm FAST. The sushi stayed cold, so it was perfect. We went to the bar for some hot sake, and the bartender (the same guy that made the scorpion bowl), was great. He was quick with making sure things were set and was conversing with us. Bartenders do a lot, but he was able to chat and still do his job quickly. All in all Bambu helped us have the perfect first date, one that I will NEVER forget! We will definitely come back again! “I have been reading the rave reviews for Amai so of course we checked it out...and Wow! Just fantastic! The Omikase is out of this world delicious! Yes, maybe a bit pricey but totally worth it. THE freshest fish, an amazingly flavorful preparation, and we loved sitting at the bar watching the chef create each dish. Highly, highly recommend!“
“Best Japanese food I've had in many years. The wonton soup and the seasame chicken are my favorites. I've been going here for all my life from when I was still a baby to now. The only complaint I have is the inconsistent schedule; however the food and service are great.“
“Ordered through DoorDash. The food came quickly and hot as well as correct. We ordered the hibachi noodles, shrimp and vegetable tempura, beef negimaki and sweet potato rolls. The beef negimaki and sweet potato rolls were very good. The hibachi noodles were a bit gummy but ok tasting and the tempura lacked favor. All in all they were good portions and reasonably priced. Would definitely order from here again.“
“We ordered delivery through Seamless. My review actually changed as I thought more about it. It went from a 4 to a 5. The food was still hot long after it was delivered. I got a General Tso combination with Wonton Soup. At first I thought it was overpriced. The more I thought about it, it was a good deal because it included the soup. The pork fried rice was delicious. It had red onion and green peppers. No giant chunks of onions or bean sprouts. The General Tso was very good. Not very spicy, but lots of flavor. The chicken was cut into small fork size pieces which didn’t have to be cut. First time I’ve had it like that. I will definitely be ordering here again.“
“Forgot about this place and recently rediscovered it! I really enjoyed my meal of cashew chicken with white rice. The sauce had a perfect savory and tangy sticky sauce mixed in with the chicken and cashew. I'm not a huge fan of celery but I honestly just picked around it and there was still a lot to eat. I also ordered a sweet potato roll which for a standard 6 roll I thought the pieces were large! My friend enjoyed the chicken pad Thai. The taste was not similar to ones I've had before. We couldn't pinpoint the exact seasoning but we both enjoyed it. Also the waitress was sweet and kind and the place was spotless and spacious. Will be back to try hibachi!“
