“Absolutely phenomenal shop! Not sure what to rave about first: the food, the taste, the owners… All outstanding. I made a trip over an hour long to come for their pumpkin French toast bagel. It didn’t live up to the hype in my head; it far exceeded it! And toasted paired with maple brown sugar cream cheese was an out of body experience. Meeting the owners, even briefly, they are fantastic people who are extremely personable, thoughtful, and dedicated beyond belief. The shop is super cute inside and with place to sit and enjoy. Absolutely will be a regular stop from now on, whether on or out of the way.“

“While staying in the area I stopped in here for a breakfast bagel sandwich and coffee on a Monday morning. Getting there soon after they opened, they weren’t busy, but it was nice seeing the process of the guy in the back making fresh bagels. Service was EXCELLENT and so friendly!!! The lady who rung me up was helpful, bright, and friendly! My food was made quickly and I left to return to my hotel.

When I got to my room and cracked into my food – it was great! Fresh, piping hot, and tasty! Coffee was hot, fresh, and good too.

“I don't normally frequent downtown Bridgeport, but when I had jury duty a couple years ago I stopped here for a bagel. The other day I had to get my nephew to school so I remembered this place was good. I asked if they had anything on the menu with no meat (he's vegetarian) and there was one thing, so we got that for hom to bring to lunch. It was cream cheese, veggies, looked pretty good. No complaints. Also got a muffin for breakfast. About 9 bucks. The place was fairly clean, not that busy when we got there, only 1 other patron. If I had reasons to be downtown, This would be my spot over the Dunkin donuts. It's pretty cozy inside. Im sure it gets busy once city hall opens, but this early (7am) it was pretty nice. I've never had a bad bal at bagel king. Wish I had pictures! Guess I have a reason to go back!“

“Absolutely fantastic bagel spot! The bagels were incredibly fresh — you can really tell they’re made right. I ordered the sandwich called The Captain, a bagel with egg and ham, tasted amazing. Everything was hot, flavorful, and perfectly put together. The coffee was also excellent, which is always a huge bonus. Great food, great quality — I’ll definitely be back!“
