“I was very impressed! Great seasonal cider with quite a few varieties. I recommend their Jack O Lantern Cider and Rhubarb wine. They had a fried chicken food truck that was "farm to food truck." We loved the two massive fire pits on the property- kept us there for hours!“

“A delightful, whimsical, artistic space with friendly people, great brunch, and adorable cats. The cats have their own living room that's closed off to the public, but you can sit at a table with your coffee and watch through the windows. We got to chatting with the owner and he let us peek into the back to say hi to the cats during feeding time. They're very sweet and a little feisty. And they're all littermates!“

The Higgy steak and cheese sandwich my husband ordered was tasty as well, but our west coast background did leave us craving some au jus. It would have been exceptional with an au jus.The potato salad is a solid choice for your side dish. It is clearly homemade, and I will happily order it again.Service was pleasant and attentive. “Our favorite brewery to go to in the entire State of Connecticut. The beers are always rotating with various selections, and all taste great. The tap room is an awesome place to hang out and meet friends, and the staff is the friendliest and most knowledgeable we have met. The location in downtown Chester is very neat and the brewery is surrounded by different types of restaurants for all kinds of appetites. Highly recommend this small Brewery for a once in a lifetime experience.“

“The girls and I did a little shopping and then brewery hoping last weekend. The location was easy to find. There's seating outdoors and indoors. The building appears to have been an old warehouse. Inside is a spacious area with plenty of hangout space, tables, booths, Foosball and Darts. We decided to drink at the bar. We were greeted by a young man who placed coasters for our drinks and a menu to read. They also have a large chalkboard that can be changed when needed. He gave us a welcoming smile and some time to go over the menu. I decided on the Bubbly, a Peach-Grapefruit Seltzer. Mine was a light and refreshing drink. Sara tried the Purple Beer and Robin ordered the beautiful flight of beers. Prices were right and the drinks were great.“

Very casual atmosphere and superb customer service. We were able to sit, relax, and enjoy a couple of beers. On nice days there's lots of outdoor seating too so good for small and big groups. Also, lots of parking spaces.“

“Great winery, we went when there happened to be live music going on in the summer time. This place is absolutely stunning and would go back again. The actual wine was good ! Honestly great little gem of a place in this area :) really cool stuff on the property too like mega beach chairs, old telephone booths, vintage cars. Great spot for photos !“

“Hungry after a few hours at Gillette Castle, we were looking for lunch/dinner. We had a wonderful experience at Pattaconk! Our waitress was friendly and attentive to my dietary needs (Celiac’s). We had a burger, quesadilla & Nashville chicken stripes. My burger had a gf bun & was delicious, husb & daughter loved the stripes & quesadilla. Restaurant had a nice, chill atmosphere, everyone enjoying drinks & food. We will be back when out in the area.“

I mean REALLY spectacular!), Harry's Place helps prepare me for Spring and my 'to-do list' mindset with the help of gathering with old and new friends. We sit on one of the many available picnic tables or upon blankets on the spacious grounds with pockets of flower gardens to look at. I use this eatery as my starting point for another year's race for time and activities. “Vero Cucina was recommended to me from a co-worker. Got an opportunity to try them over the weekend. He was so right! The food was outstanding! Had the caprese salad. All ingredients were very fresh. The tomatoes had a nice crunch to them. The home made slice bread was perfect! It had just enough flavor for a little oil or butter. There are so many things on the menu I can't wait to try..totally recommend going here.“
