Flavorful food and a great atmosphere!
We are so sorry to see Toby's Restaurant was evicted. East Hartford has lost a real gem. I am glad to see they found a spot in Vernon. We ate at Toby's recently and it was a great experience. We had fun trying to translate the menu and the staff was excellent. The food was different and really good. The portions were so large we could have gotten 3 meals out of each order.
La comida estaba deliciosa!! Me encantó! Yo me comí un lomo saltado y mi papá una jalea. El lugar está muy bonito y el mesero súper formal.

The Chaufa with steak is very tasty, and the Pollo Broaster is crispy and flavorful. A passion fruit juice is sweet and refreshing. However, the rice pudding, arroz con leche, can be disappointing with extremely hard rice.
Overall, the food is made fresh, presentation is great, and the amount of food is fair. This place is better than other local Peruvian spots and is highly recommended for a date night or takeout. People deserve to know about this place.
