My Brother Ap and I had an excellent experience at this amazing spot! When walking in for the first time I loved being greeted by all that fresh seafood on display! The atmosphere was dope. AP & I always find ourselves talking to everyone that walks by our table 😀 but it is fun. We had a Dope time. The service was very warm and inviting with the staff being very friendly and nice to everyone. Our server was named Jasmine and she was super cool and I liked how she always kept my water filled. Trust me, I drink a lot of water too!😁 Now let's get into the Amazing Seafood! Al ordered: 1. Lobster Roll W/truffle fries $32💣💣💣 2. Seafood platter with Pollock & Brussel Sprouts $38.00 💣 3. Hosmer Root Beer $2.99 🫣😁 AP ordered: 1. 1lb Steamers $20.00 💣 2. Baked Haddock $25.00 💣 3. Coke Zero $2.99 Flanders earned a 'Big Al's 💎 Gem Spot' for many reasons but I need to highlight that I ate the very best Lobster roll ever! Hands down!! I stand by that!!! I love the way that it is served to the table in a bowl of perfectly seasoned butter is something AMAZING! On top of it, they served me a very generous portion of Lobster and it came with French Fries and for ONLY $32.00! I also ordered the seafood Platter and every single thing that was served on that plate was AMAZING! The fried Pollock was Amazingly Dope too! ❤️ Note: They also serve the Bomb Fish & Chips and every Tuesday it's only $7.99! 💣 I can go on and on about how great Flanders Fish Market is but you really need to get your a** down there right away and check it out! “I just had the pleasure of my first dining experience at 374 Kitchen & Cocktails. I had to try the deviled eggs as a connosouier. They were delicious!! A bit too much Old Bay for me, but I scraped some off. The bacon cheeseburger was so yummy!! I also loved the Cesar salad. What a spectacular presentation with the fried parmesan. The seasonal depression cocktail was just what I needed. Our server was very attentive and personable.“

Tables full of baked goods, salads, sides, an omelet station, loaded dessert table...just more than I can name. Lovely setting, beautiful views. Clean, quiet, well decorated. “I got the Fish and Chips last night 09/03/2024. Everything was cooked perfectly and the portions were quite big. I usually don’t get to have seafood because I moved down south near Asheville, NC but this place made one of my favorite meals (that I don’t get to have too often anymore) perfectly even the fries were cooked perfectly. “Black point pizza is always my go to when I want an absolutely amazing pizza. for me I have the cooks keep it in the oven a bit longer so it stands up when you pick it up to eat. the sauce is to die for also. if you like your pizza a little more firm just ask and the cooks are happy to make your food exactly as you like. minor the owner is a stand up guy and really did good with this recipe. the salads and his homemade balsamic dressing is the best I've had from anywhere. if you have not come out to black point you are really missing out. “01.26.25- 'Big Al's Reel Reviews' - Little Galapagos Restaurant ❤️ City of New London ❤️ I dropped into The Little Galapagos Restaurant this evening to review a couple of their popular menu items which were Chicken Wings, Thai Chilli Sauce followed by Carne Asada Ecuadorians Style meal that was actually really Dope ❤️ however the Chicken wings were not great at all so they earned a Thumbs 👎🏾 The atmosphere and service was really dope there and I am sure that had I ordered anything else on the menu besides the Wings would have been just as good as the Carne Asada. “Had the special - Chicken Cordon bleu… didn’t expect anything amazing but it was amazing. Surprisingly, but beautifully, crispy on the outside with a slight sweet flavor. Chicken was perfectly cooked, not dry, with appropriate proportions of cheese/ham. Service was extraordinarily friendly. Topped it off with a nice Port wine and they had a decent selection available. Will be back.“

“Very good. Best Fried Shrimp I’ve ever had! My onion rings soaked up too much oil though, my dad got the curly fries with his meal and those came out very good. Clam chowder was very good too, not the best I’ve ever had, but a very good bowl! I think they have a decent lobster roll, my brother got it and enjoyed it, but it looked like it should have had more lobster for a $35 roll. Prices are out of control over the past few years, but i understand owners have to cover costs. Overall food was good. Very friendly staff and clean picnic tables. Ice cream was great as well. Would stop again next time I’m back in Old Lyme.“

“The quality of the food exceptional, great spare rib bone in without being overly thick and nasty and overly greasy or too much sauce. The general tsos chicken is exceptional. Not too salty or oversaturated in sauce and the fried rice is tasty“

“Excellent food everything was fresh and hot. Very filling, the only negative thing is it's kind of expensive to order. The beef Lo mein is full of flavor and chewy. The eggroll was perfect not hard crunch. Fortune cookies are always nice to have in the order.“
