“Had weekday lunch, ordered eggplant parm and tiramisu.
Zero complaints about service or atmosphere.
Now, the food:
1. Eggplant parm - great! And a decent portion for lunch.
2. Pasta (rigatoni) that came with eggplant - almost cold, severely undercooked (I do understand a concept of all dente, and this was not it), tasteless, and in a spicy (i should have been asked) red sauce. Disappointing.
3. Tiramisu - tasted great, but probably the smallest portion I've ever gotten in a restaurant... for $10.00, 2x2 inches is a bit too small.
Overall: I will come and eat there again.“

“Had the best time and food! Our first time here and we sat at the bar. Drink special Simple Plan was tasty with a spicy finish so just right! We loved Tuna Tartare. Best tartare ever and we are not kidding. Poached Shrimp Tostada was good too. Spicy Caesar Salad delish to the last bite. We finished with Salted Caramel Crème Brûlée which was well balanced sweet and flavor tasty. We talked with others at the bar about their dishes and those got good reviews too. So we are looking forward to coming back.“

“Came here after going to bingo Loco to finish my celebratory birthday.

We walked in within an hour of closing, so we were given last call. We were seated at a booth, but quickly moved to the bar where the bartender made our concoctions, chatted with us, and talked about the old distillery that was before the parlor.

I got the Smoke Break; mezcal, wild moon sumac, apricot, amaro del capo, lime and absinthe. It was very good, very smoky, but the perfect balance.

And of course, the birthday is not complete without shots! We ended up taking the sour cherry vodka, which is one of my favorites

“*update: Bar Experience. The bar was very well equipped, the bartender ( Alex) was very attentive, knowledgeable and efficient. Carlos made sure everyone was tended and had what they needed. Great teamwork behind the bar. The food Experience at the bar matched that of the dining room experience. The bar and restaurant was busy but Alex, Carlos and all of the staff hustled and the food was hot, tasted wonderful and of course left me wanting desert. If you have not visited this establishment, you are missing out. Everything from their service, their extensive drink menu, their delicious "tapas", their creative specials, their daily menu to their tray of deserts is an experience. This is our second visit here and we are absolutely in love with this restaurant. From its eclectic decor, super attentive staff to its fabulously fantastic tasting tapas and entrees....where do I truly begin. The owners ( Rob, is always stopping by to say hello and check in) are visible and make you feel welcomed, my waitress Alyssa was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. “I used to love coming here pre pandemic! I brought my friend with me from out of town and we were having a GREAT night with the bartender Dustin (who literally was excellent), and at the end of the night it was just my friend, the owner, and I. The conversation was calm and civil and fun and suddenly out of NOWHERE the owner proceeded to verbally assault us, calling us expletives and making us feel unsafe and unwelcome. We decided it was no longer for us and stepped outside, at which point he FOLLOWED US OUTSIDE and alternated between apologizing and cursing at us and begging us to come back inside until we left. I’m glad we didn’t go back inside as his behavior was erratic and potentially dangerous, considering we were two women and he is a much larger man. We were afraid and felt safer walking home (in Hartford that says something) rather than staying put. I’m bummed because I used to like this place, but it’s come to my attention we are certainly not the only women with this experience. Please be careful y’all.“

“We felt the food and atmosphere were great, definitely a bit more of a fancy place than we normally go to. A bit pricey but the food was very good. My only issue and the biggest reason we most likely will not be going back is they do not have or offer a kids menu and were not very accommodating to kids. I understand it’s fancier place to eat but I was very unprepared when I had my son with me not knowing they did not have a kids menu. He ended up eating French fries for dinner and I had to go home to make him something else.“

The staff had a lot of customers to serve for the seating and the provided outstanding service. The restaurant manager was personally greeting customers and ensuring they were happy with their meals.
