Wonderful atmosphere, smooth music and the owners never miss the opportunity to stop buy your table and say friendly hello. Now the food, just exceptional (!) always fresh and creative, new items added to the menu. Love the tapas, small dishes that allow to try the culinary talents of the chef. Donnie will great you his wonderful friendly way and Gianna will do her magic to make you feel well taken care of. Thank you for wonderful experience every time we visit.“
“My favorite local watering hole.I’ve been going to Ideal Tavern for years now and I absolutely love it. The food is always on point, great selection of craft beers and even better craft cocktails. The bartenders are always friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is amazing. And they ALWAYS are playing the best music. Whatever playlist they’re using it has always been on point for years. Can’t recommend Ideal Tavern enough, my favorite spot in Southington.“
“We ate here late on a Sunday night (8:15) before heading out on a long drive. Everything was perfect - the atmosphere was really warm and somehow both super calm and happy; the menu was awesome and the food was really delicioius, and the service was attentive and fast, but not rushed.“
“Service was on the slow side, however the dining area was busy. My chicken sandwich was delicious and juicy, and I would definitely order it again. However the $1.50 for the up charge on french fries was not worth it. The fries were soggy, limp and unseasoned.It wasn't all bad. Like I said I really enjoyed my beer and my chicken sandwich.Parking: Nice new looking building but parking seems limited.“

A truck driver friend recommended this place and I did not get a good meal, I got a GREAT meal. Perfectly crispy fried Pickles, perfectly crispy and sauced chicken wings, perfectly chopped side salad, perfectly seasoned Poutine Tots, perfectly mixed homemade ranch. “Was there for happy hour at the bar. I don't know the bartender's name, but the dirty martini's were spot on and spanking cold! He was very attentive to my group. My only "complaint" is that Brio is in Westfarms Mall, so you need to deal with the parking morons and the junior high schoolers who hang out there just to get into the place. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.“
“Who knew this local bar has a legit Taco Tuesday!??Located on West Main St in Meriden is Maloney's Pub. Sad to say I have lived here for 20+ years and just started going to this establishment. I was missing out. Bar staff is very nice, provide good service. Drink prices are reasonable and they have mostly any liquor you want. If they don't they will order it for the next time you go! I knew they served food but general go after the kitchen is closed (after 10pm). I went on a Tuesday and overheard someone ordering tacos. I ordered 2 chicken tacos. So good! The ingredients were so fresh and chicken was seasoned perfectly. I am a huge fan of salsa verde and this was the best I've had. Tacos were $2 a piece & draft beers are $3 on Tuesday. Good food, cheap night!“
“Music was good. The bartender (Nina, I think?) had a wonderful and inviting bubbly personality. She was fast and welcoming. The parking situation was not great, very limited and we got there pretty early in the evening. We weren't jiving with the vibe of the crowd and left. Younger reguetton hookah crowd not for me, but overall good based on the short time we were there.“
“Nice little hidden gem. Located on a main road and there is street parking in front. Menu had quite an offering and something for everyone. The wings and nachos were delicious. The decor was nice and inviting . The bartender Jessica was fabulous, the other girls were friendly as well. They have a pretty good happy house menu so definitely I'll go there again. Worth the drive for me for sure.They also have a banquet room available for parties there too.Definitely check this place out for some delicious food and good pricing.“
“Let me start off with, I really love this place! The game and drink options are great and the service is pretty good, but it would be nice if they could keep the games serviced better. More than a few of the games I played had non-functioning buttons and the coin slots ate my money without giving credits.“
