“Great place. I have always had a good experience. Until this time. Service was horrible. I took more than 15 min, for the service to notice me. Got my food before the drink. I reminded her when she came to see me after the food arrived( 10 mins in), and she told me such a non-sense excuse. I told her that I still wanted it my wine and then proceeded to eat what was left. The past with seafood I ordered was just ok, I lacked flavor. Overall, I left disappointed but maybe will be back in another time.“

“We hosted our daughter's confirmation party/dinner here and let me just say, the quality of service began 2 weeks ago when I called to check for availability. Chris was an absolute pleasure to deal with. He was more than accommodative to all our requests and made it feel casual that it took the worry out of organizing an event. We were a party of 25. Chris called the day of, to confirm our reservation. We got delayed an hour after the ceremony so I called them and they told us to take our time and that everything was set for us. I even called them 15mins before the crowd got there to put some appetizers in which they took care of seamlessly. Christine was well informed of our party and handled it smoothly. Stan was amazing. He came up to us in the beginning and advised of the modified order. He split the appetizers evenly among the three tables and even downsized some of the orders for us. Nancy was our waitress and she was an absolute machine, never missing a beat, constantly smiling and incredibly successful looking after our entire party. We ordered the flatbreads, garlic cheese bread, pan fried risotto balls and a few Cesar salads for appetizers for each of the tables. The food was top notch, on par with the service. Everyone ordered their own meals and the drinks were excellent too. I ordered the New York strip, medium rare, and the accompanying bacon and onion chutney was a fantastic pairing. I had a salute75 which was one of the best gin martinis I've tried in a very long time, followed by an old fashioned and finished with an Irish coffee. Nancy was always open to requests taking photos and Christine even took a photo of the whole group at the end standing by the Salute wall. We were genuinely looked after like family. It's a modern look inside with a view of the kitchen, not particularly luxurious but simple and elegant with good lighting. Highly recommend this place and we'll definitely be going back. Great job Chris, Christine, Stan and Nancy and kudos to the Salute team working in the background to make this place the best meal and service package experience.“

“love a good Gastro pub and Union Kitchen did not disappoint. Truly wonderful and friendly staff. genuinely nice people which is a refreshing surprise. The food was excellent. Stuffed Queen Olives and Whipped Ricotta toast were incredible. main courses Shrimp and Scallop risotto and the Lobster Rigstoni arrabbiata could stand up to some of the best italian and seafood restaurants. Atmosphere was beautiful and welcoming. would definitely visit again.“

“Excellent vibe and atmosphere. I've only been solo 2x at the bar.. the Bartenders are awesome. The food is high quality, but over priced for the portion size and my Entree one night was overly salty and the next time I went my vegetable with my Duck breast was salty as well. I appreciate seasoned food. Being a part of the food service business for almost 35 years in various capacities makes me a food snob I suppose. I'll have to try some different items. The Curry- Crab Soup and Maple Dessert was awesome.“

“My wife and I had our first dinner at Vinted Wine Bar tonight. My wife has had a good amount of experience at Vinted, but it was my first time there. Top to bottom... TRULY EXCELLENT!! We shared a nice bottle of Daou Cab while sitting at the bar, and started with the Whipped Hummus, with Crispy Scallion Cake. Best Hummus you'll ever eat, and the warm crispy thin cake slices are very delicious with the Hummus. Terrific! Then we split and shared 2 entrees: The Chicken Milanese, and the Vinted Prime Burger. Both, also super delicious. Rich, flavorful, perfectly prepared by the talented crew in the kitchen lead by the executive chef, and partner, Mike Voight. Ate every bite of everything. Lastly, for desert we shared the Sticky Toffee Pudding Cake. Holy cow, that is one incredible desert. Our bartender Chris was very helpful, friendly, and although busy had time to talk with us. And we found all the staff, extremely personable. Mike has a finely tuned ship in Vinted. We'll be back. #impressed“

“French restaurant in a chic space where there are both no reservations and no cash accepted The menu is kind of strange, as it is comprised of a few different variations of a few eclectic options. For example, you could order one of three variations of their stews, flatbreads, or grilled cheeses, or you could also order a whole roast chicken. The service was a little slow, but the servers were very friendly A little on the pricer side My dad and I ordered a flatbread and a sandwhich. It was all solid, but nothing blew us away“

“We just had a brunch for 70+ people after a funeral here last weekend. The owner was wonderful. I did not have to worry about a thing. The food was terrific, the staff wonderful, the venue perfect...they could even have accomodated more folks if needed. I didn't have to worry about thing. I highly recommend Cotton Hollow Kitchen. Very pleased.“

“Our first time dining at Mecha, but definitely not our last! Dylan was extremely kind and helpful when I called to inquire about seating, making a reservation (they don't - it's a waitlist system)... our server Lauren was awesome! She was patient (we had a million questions) and made wonderful suggestions. Super helpful considering we were first timers... and the food! Everything we ordered was delicious! The mushroom dumplings, general tso's shrimp, the ramen were all fabulous, fresh and full of flavor. I had the ground chicken seasonal special and am absolutely going back before the season changes to have it again. I highly recommend this place.“

“Excellent food and service! Went last minute for dinner on Saturday night. It was an hour wait, but they have a large waiting area with tables where you can sit and enjoy drinks and apps. Ricotta appetizer was to die for. Also loved my entree...Amish Chicken.“

“I used to love coming here pre pandemic! I brought my friend with me from out of town and we were having a GREAT night with the bartender Dustin (who literally was excellent), and at the end of the night it was just my friend, the owner, and I. The conversation was calm and civil and fun and suddenly out of NOWHERE the owner proceeded to verbally assault us, calling us expletives and making us feel unsafe and unwelcome. We decided it was no longer for us and stepped outside, at which point he FOLLOWED US OUTSIDE and alternated between apologizing and cursing at us and begging us to come back inside until we left. I’m glad we didn’t go back inside as his behavior was erratic and potentially dangerous, considering we were two women and he is a much larger man. We were afraid and felt safer walking home (in Hartford that says something) rather than staying put. I’m bummed because I used to like this place, but it’s come to my attention we are certainly not the only women with this experience. Please be careful y’all.“

“Cannot say enough good things about The Hollow. Whether you are a golfer or not the restaurant should be added to your regular rotation. The food is top notch, everything on the menu is fantastic. My favorites are the loaded potato chips and the Brit burger. The staff is friendly, the drinks are perfect and everything is reasonably priced (especially here in 2022). Did i mention the view from the patio is beautiful? This restaurant is a must taste!“

“I was at Kbarr 2 Friday's ago June 16th to be exact I had a great time. I just missed the happy hour ?‍? lol but still had a great time food was amazing Maddie the bartender was great made the best rum punch I've ever had it was better than the rum punch I was drinking in Jamaica...the food was great as well as the atmosphere I definitely can't wait to go back to see my Girl Maddie she's my new favorite bartender. “First timer, heard so many good reviews and did not disappoint!! Our waitress was wonderful and attentive. They gave our appetizer to the wrong table in error and the owner came right over and gave us another on the house. Food was delicious. And ate every bit. It’s more for drinks and I get that, but if you have the kitchen and the space to make food, use that and make it great. We had Parmesan tater tots but it was cold. It tasted microwaved. And I didn’t like it. The service was slow for having staff and not that many people there. He was so sweet but the service was slow.“

“Went in on a Wednesday for a business meeting with 3 partners, we sat at the bar to have a drink, the bartender Emma was a delight. She was friendly with such a warm personality. There was a young man filling the cooler with bottles of beer who joined the conversation, we stayed longer than expected and I will be back with my wife. “The food and service were outstanding. I enjoyed a sweet sausage and arrabiata pasta dish and my guest had an outstanding salmon dish. The meals were reasonably priced and, quite frankly, the food matched in quality Italian food I have had in considerably more expensive restaurants. My only complaint: the chianti wine served was warm and I had to use ice cubes to cool it. That being said, I advised the manager that "room temperature" was 55 degrees not 70 degrees, she agreed and stated that she would relay my complaint to her boss. I consider Brio's to be among the best Italian restaurants in the Hartford area.“

“After seeing this place on Instagram, we decided to try it for lunch on Saturday. Our waitress Jennifer was extremely patient with us. She made sure to answer all our questions (there were many), make helpful suggestions, and was so friendly. The cocktails were great, two of which she made special based off our flavor preferences. She and 2 other bartenders there are competition bartenders. The food was delicious. I only took one picture of our appetizer but everything we ordered was great. We did the lobster minis, 2 half chicken meals, and the shrimp blt salad. If you like fresh ingredients, farm to table, wild caught, homemade syrups, and an upscale vibe you will love this spot!“
