“Our entire family, six adults and two children, enjoyed a fabulous lunch here last Saturday. The food was absolutely delicious! We decided to go big and had the ribs, both types of sausage, pulled pork, brisket, pulled chicken, chicken leg and thigh, collard greens, Mac and cheese, coleslaw, cornbread and more. We ate our fill and had enough left overs for four adults to enjoy lunch and dinner on Sunday! The meats were perfectly smoked and the sides were incredible. “Honestly one the most underrated pizzas in Connecticut (in my opinion). The sauce and ingredients are always PACKED with flavor, and the crust is always crunchy on the outside and pillowy on the inside. Their peperoni and sausage is a must try!“

“Warm atmosphere with comfortable chairs and great lighting, Dishes according to their price, the calzone is large and you can add whatever you want, in terms of flavor they go overboard with the sauce, it was too much on each plate. The service was friendly although they were not attentive to the table, even though there were few tables (ask how everything is, if they want more water or so on). The price is reasonable.“

“Up in the northwest corner of the state in Litchfield County holds this hidden gem. It’s been ages since I’ve been here and I practically grew up here and Gooseboro’s as a kid (Cozy Hills Campground.) Bantam Pizza has been here since..well..since I can remember.

Parking - Plenty of it, and there’s a good number of handicap spaces.

Food - Pizza was on point and delicious. Normally..I like my pizza to be doughy and not have that crunch..but their pizza has that crunch but it also falls apart if and when you cut into it so it’s got that perfect texture. I got the Bantam Special but with no fish…I hate anchovies. Crust was a little hard..but it’s okay, I don’t usually eat the crust anyway, even on a doughy pizza…unless it’s stuffed. Soda came out in a can…so no fountain drinks.

Service - Friendly, fast, efficient and always came to see if I needed anything more and how I was doing. She seemed impressed that I ate the whole thing..but it was a small pizza..so of course, I can and will eat it all…especially if it’s good..otherwise it’ll go in the fridge for a week and I’ll forget about it.

Overall…definitely a 5* visit and will return. Menu has changed a bit as far as pricing goes compared to what they show so this is the updated menu.“

“They are located behind a gas station in Litchfield, CT. They rank up there with Bigfoot and UFO's in terms of things you might randomly find while driving. That being said, make the effort. Their pizza is awesome, with perhaps the most perfect crust I've had. Everything else on their menu is well done, too. Why does all the magic happen behind a gas station?“

“This is a smaller eatery with lots of character and great service. I had breakfast and ordered the biscuits with sausage gravy and 2 lightly scrambled eggs, also smothered in the sausage gravy. Ordered, blinked, and my food was served, impressive for a small eatery. Great biscuits and sausage gravy and the eggs were cooked perfect. I also ordered home fries with onions which tasted great and were also cooked to perfection, I loved seeing the onions cooked well as in, some were even burnt, the way they're supposed to be. Stop by if you get a chance, you'll feel right at home.“

“I actually like this place. Reminds me of back home. Cash is preferred. And the price ranges for lunch $7 to 9 dollars. My children love chicken wings with pork fried rice. That was around $8.50. But they give you 4 wings which is what I'm use too compared my local Chinese that give you on 6 pc for $7.80. I did take pictures of their menu because I was always hesitant to buy when I don't see menu on website. I believe they should update their system. We're in 2021?? either way I'm happy my local was close on Monday. Gave me a chance to try new food.“

“ordered from ollies for the first time last week. theyre new on slice! placed my order, and everything I put in the "special request" spot, was not done, I called them, they were SOOOOOO friendly and explained that it was a new system, and it was written very small, they made my food correct, and none of them could've been any more apologetic! I felt bad, since they had to bring it all the way back to Torrington. Again the person that delivered was apologetic, and they gave me a free desert. I cant tell you enough how friendly these guys ALL are, we even ordered from them again tonight. the food is sooo good, on top of good service, you can't go wrong...everyone needs to try them, you won't be disappointed! “Delicious fried shrimp platter. Shrimp was perfect, spicy fries are good. Not spicy enough IMO. Cocktail sauce and tartar sauce are really good. I am not a fan of vinegar slaw. I think buttermilk would be the much wiser choice for seafood. The flies annoyed me when they're landing on me but it's all open which is nice. Bathroom trailer is kind of gross TBH. Also, it's just really expensive. It's not the place I can just bring a family of 7 to, so we can take a break from cooking.“

“I have ordered the chicken cutlet grinder, lemon chicken Satorini grinder (need to try if you haven't!), eggplant and meatball parmesan grinders, and the Santa Fe and gyro chicken wraps. EVERYTHING has been excellent as far as freshness, flavor, and reasonable prices for generous portions. I understand they bake their own bread which would explain why the grinder rolls are always super fresh. Also, the staff are always friendly and appreciative. Although I've only gotten takeout, the place looks clean and comfortable, and there are tables so you can dine in.“
