I love this place. The view is amazing. The food is great. They have one of the best clam chowders in town. I recommend you visiting here even if it's just to take pictures. They have adequate parking space.
We ordered the New England seafood feast. I loved that it came out in stages, so everything was hot! (Accept the shrimp, that was chilled). Everything was cooked to perfection! We will definitely take this side trip again when we are down that way. Prices were very reasonable. There was both indoor and outdoor seating.
Fantastic experience here. First time at Abbott's (and first time in CT). Was really looking forward to warm lobster rolls on our vacation, and Abbott's did not disappoint. I got the one pound lobster roll and it was delicious. It came with chips and slaw. They also had a water cooler so customers could get free water with their meal if they wanted it.
