Unexpected delight! Great Bloody Mary’s, amazing garlic butter shrimp and hot lobster rolls! Menu has a wide variety of choices and we had TERRIFIC service. We will be back. (Sorry, enjoying the food too much to remember to take pictures!)

While visiting Stonington we were so pleased to discover Ford's Black &/Blue. Every dish we ordered including the mussels, chowder (New England) scallops, lobster & ricotta fettuccine were wonderful. I ordered the fig & arugula flat bread. Although no longer on the menu, the chef did prepare it & was terrific. The pear martini was a winner. Very nice restaurant, I tried the clam chowder, it was served luke warm. The flavors were good but not the best chowder I've had. I also had the buffalo chicken flatbread which was very flavorful and I enjoyed it. The service was very slow, it seemed like maybe only 1 waiter for a very large section trying to do everything himself, maybe lower staffing due to the off-season.
