The Mariner Reviews
We were ignored at another local establishment and we walked down to The Mariner. When I tell you that was by far the best staff, I mean it. Ingrid was so welcoming, Kristin was our server and was warm and personable, and they both went above and beyond to accommodate us. My husband really enjoyed his prime rib sandwich and my baked clams were off the chain. Thank you ladies for a wonderful experience!

Dropped anchor at The Mariner in Mystic with my Queen Retta and my son Adarius. The vibe was coastal, the service was excellent, and the food? Straight-up DOPE.
From the moment we walked in, the staff showed love. Special shoutout to our server Sarah A. who was friendly, attentive, and locked in all night. You already...read full review

The Mariner in Mystic is a highly recommended dining spot, known for its excellent food and friendly service. The restaurant uses fresh, local ingredients to prepare dishes such as cocktails, baked clams, calamari, steak frites, fried scallops, cannoli, hot brownie sundae, espresso martinis, and clam chowder, which is considered the best by many customers. The lobster roll is also a standout dish. Guests can enjoy both indoor and outdoor seating, offering a chance to see the bridge raise while dining. The atmosphere combines coastal charm with a relaxed, nautical vibe, making it a great place for a memorable meal. Visitors praise the freshness of the seafood, the flavorful chowder, and the friendly staff, especially the server Colleen, who is highly appreciated. The food is so good that once it arrives, no one puts their fork down. The mussels in red sauce appetizer is a must-try, bursting with flavor and expertly prepared. The service is friendly and attentive without being overbearing, creating a welcoming environment. The tuna is incredibly tender and paired with a flavorful sauce and sesame seeds, considered one of the best seafood dishes around. Whether for a late lunch, a special treat, or a relaxed dinner after exploring the harbor, The Mariner promises a satisfying experience with good energy and tasty dishes.
