“Our first visit. We ordered orange chicken, boneless spare ribs, and pork dumplings. Everything was delicious. Husband is a local and its his new favorite spot. We will definitely visit again.“

Sift Bake Shop is a really nice coffee shop and bakery. The coffee was great, and the baked goods were beautiful and delicious. It’s clear why it’s such a popular spot.

One tip: mornings can get quite busy, but later in the day it’s much calmer and easy to get whatever you want without the wait. Either way, it’s worth stopping by. We would definitely recommend Sift Bake Shop to anyone visiting Mystic!“

“My husband and I visited S & P Oyster Co. on our honeymoon, and it truly could not have been a more exquisite experience. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was warm, inviting, and perfect for a special occasion. We started with fresh oysters on the half shell, pan-seared octopus, and pan-seared scallops, each dish was beautifully prepared and absolutely outstanding. For our entrées, we enjoyed the sesame-encrusted yellowfin tuna and the homemade squid ink pasta, both of which were exceptional in flavor and quality. Our waiter, Jeff, made the night even more memorable. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and kind, offering wonderful recommendations and never rushing us. The drinks were fantastic as well and complemented the meal perfectly. S & P Oyster Co. gave us a honeymoon dinner we will never forget. We can’t recommend this place enough and can’t wait to return. We make it a point to come every year!“

Staff is always so kind and accommodating!! To be 💯 honest, these are THE FRESHEST juices around! I have tried many other cold pressed juices and these are not comparable!!! “I'm in the top 5% of pizza restaurant reviewers on Google and I dont give out 5 stars easily. I have been to Fireside Brick Oven a handful of times over the years. The food was always good , but it used to take a LONG time to get our food, especially with a large party. They revamped since I was in there last. The place looks cleaner and the layout improved. Somehow, the food also improved, which is saying something because it was always great. The service and the time it took to get our food (party of 20) also drastically improved. I always knew this place had potential, and I'm so glad they figured it out.

There are some contenders in Eastern, CT, but right now I think Fireside might be king. 👑

“Really nice CT hole in the wall spot. A bit away from the busy downtown area of Niantic, and right past the famous Book Barn, if you're coming from the North. Inside is nice an cool, with enough space for people to eat. As well as outside tables by the porch or the front of the venue if it's nice and cool.

Eventhough it was busy, these people were fast.

Once you get in, you go right to the front desk and order. If there's a line, make sure to have already picked what you want. Don't wait last second to figure it out. It's not polite. Then pay and get your receipt and your number.

Take a seat and make sure the waiter and waitress sees the number for your food.

We had a pleasant time. They have two doors so you dont have to leave the same way you came in and bathrooms.

If you have children or wheelchair, make sure to have someone to order for you since the first step of the venue is tall. Making it hard to get in for wheelchair ♿ people.

Decent parking space. Just pay attention with the ongoing traffic. People drive too fast and they stop for nothing when you are leaving the plaza.“

“I’m genuinely surprised at the amount of negative reviews. I ordered the ribeye with eggs and everything was cooked the way I wanted and the steak was really tender. My significant other also ordered a couple different big breakfast items and everything came out great. I was very pleasantly surprised. I didn’t mind the prices since everything exceeded my expectations for presentation and quality.“
