Really beautiful space. Service was amazing. Mad at myself for walking by this place so many times before trying it. The pasta was incredible. The vegetarian dishes were spot on. Their pomodoro sauce is something I think about often. Beautifully decorated for Christmas. Super intimate space with a great wine list.
I was excited about the yellowfin catch of the day, but not the pairing of it with caponata. Lucas suggested pairing it with pesto traponese. It was brilliant and delicious. He made my day. 5 stars. Thank you!
Certainly a worthy dining experience in Mystic. That said however, although there is great ambiance, the dishes are not spectacular. Having dined not only throughout Connecticut, but aswell in Italy...I cannot honestly state I was impressed. For the pricepoint of the dishes one would expect an exquisite meal and unfortunately we experienced something very lackluster. Tagliatelle, a pasta I made in Italy very simply and very diverse.
