Morina Restaurant for the win...Everything was amazing..The entire staff made us feel like family, the way a restaurant shouĺd be. The Garlic Rolls are to die for, and the awesome Chicken Parmesan with fresh made parpardelle pasta, and homemade sauce, & Jen's Greek Chicken wrap was PACKED with fresh grilled chicken & feta cheese & had killer fries. “Dinner was very good. We went for the $39 fixed price menu as the choices were to our liking. Started with the shredded kale salad (which should have been cut into smaller "shreds" as it was hard to eat) and the polenta with gorgonzola sauce. Very tasty. Salmon and coq au vin for entrees. Perfect size portions and delicious. Desserts were disappointing. Vanilla gelato with caramel sauce was basically a decent vanilla ice cream with a few drizzles of caramel which looked like the dessert had been pre-made and came out of the freezer. Lemon mousse crepes were odd. A crepe - nothing in it - with a dollop of lemon mousse on top that you had to spread over the crepe? Glasses of wine were expensive ($21 each) but good. Tyler was our waiter and he was great. Very attentive, helpful, knew the menu and ingredients, paced our courses and we didn't feel rushed. Ambiance was nice as we sat in the main room with the high ceiling. And the bread was fabulous. Definitely worth the $$ for the fixed price menu. I'd suggest other dessert choices thoiugh. We will be back for the regular menu!“

“What a little gem hidden in a quaint area of CT. Purchased a Groupon and wasn't sure what to expect but were we surprised. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, we were approached immediately to be seated. Dining room had a warm feel with table linens and napkins. Server, Ashley provided excellent service and was very knowledgable with specials and questions we asked. The salad to start was perfect with enough dressing but not overdone, enough Gorgonzola for flavor not excessive and the display of vegetables was impressive. The pasta dishes were exceptional with their home made freshness and the sauce was delicious with much flavor. The menu has many options for your liking and descriptive to make ordering easier. The dessert menu had many options all which looked delicious as we noticed most tables were indulging, so we did too with the gelato. We will return with friends and family. Please try this place, you will not be disappointed and I dine at many restaurants.“

“We held our wedding rehearsal brunch at Esca Wine Bar, and it was wonderful. The staff were so accommodating when we realized we hadn’t counted ourselves (the bride and groom) in the guest count and needed 2 more seats, quickly making the adjustments to the tables and to the food. They were able to accommodate a variety of dietary restrictions, as well as providing both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to everyone. Our host even took a group photo for us at the end of the event. We absolutely recommend having an event here at Esca!“
