Subpar and overpriced. Spent a lot of money, but felt like a nuisance rather than a guest. Tiny diner like fork with expensive, poorly prepared entree seemed odd, although I could have overlooked that. Maybe stick with pizza? Flavors ok, but over salty. Oh, well. I don’t know. Maybe don’t offer an over priced fine dining menu if you can’t pull it off? I might go back if I’m in a masochistic mood.

Host is very rude. She made a mistake with my order and instead of calling me waited until the kitchen closed so I was not able to get my order. Was hostile the minute I got on the phone and made it my fault when it’s an uber issue. Unfortunately I won’t be eating here even if I love their food because of how the host treated me over the phone. Hope she gets some extra training with delivery devices to avoid this issues for the next customer.

Memorial brunch. 20 person gathering. Room with a bar. We had table of photos; family movie clips and slides. Plenty of room to reacquaint and chat. Excellent bar and table service. Good menu offerings. I had mushrooms risotto perfectly made. Sandwich, entree, salad choices - I can't remember everything. Wonderful mimosa. Table of dessert pastry and cookies. Good acoustics for background music and easy conversation. Very happy with the restaurants guidance and support of our small family and friends event.

This is a very large and comfortable bar and restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating on Whitney avenue in Hamden Connecticut.
We had a dinner meeting party in this establishment and the food was really good and the place looked huge so you can get reservations or not probably still be seated on a busy night. Great for large parties or family as well I'm sure

The service was the best Gabby was our server and did a lot to make us comfortable and communicated to the kitchen our food adjustment. They have a few different menus Happy hour, regular and a menu with no prices be sure to ask the price! The white clam appetizer was delicious and so was the seafood risotto. Steve came to talk to us in regards to a receipt question. Definitely I may visit again soon we liked the atmosphere.

Meeting some friends in the Hamden area. Café Amici was the destination. Amici was the right choice for our get together. Service was wonderful and as you can tell by the photos, the food was exceptional. If you’re ever in the New Haven or Hamden area it is a must try. I could write all the details on why I enjoyed our visit here, but I’ll leave that to you to come and experience it yourself. Congratulations to the staff and management for creating a wonderful experience for patrons.
We just hosted a baby shower at Cafe Amici and can’t rave enough about them! The staff was exceptional, helpful and so kind. The food was also outstanding! Our event was buffet style and they made sure we never ran out of any options while keeping the food hot and delicious. Lindsay was especially lovely and cheerful, you’d think she was just as excited to be there as we were! We will absolutely be back!

The female bartender was horrible and rude. She didn't know how to make a basic drink then blamed the customer for how bad the drink she made turned out. All around awful experience. We went there to celebrate something and left very disappointed.

I never do this but this establishment deserves this review! I ordered through ubereats. It is difficult to find many places to get quality food at a reasonable price and be able to count on the restaurant to actually care. I’m so impressed today! Absolutely delicious! Packing was perfect to keep temperatures right on hots and colds. Great portions! Listened to each comment and accommodated. THE BEST PART… They called me to clarify any instructions to make sure I was happy. This place is stellar!

Place very crowded as outdoor seating not open..nowhere to stand at bar prior to reservations..bar tender on break..needed more help behind bar..the seating person was great trrying to get us a table earlier as we were done at a game earlier than anticipated..martini was awful sent it back..waited abiut 40 minutes for our main entree or more, seemed like longer..waitress very busy but did her best!! People were nice, food hot and tasted good! First time in town. So we trued the restsurant..make sure u have reservations..i had called ahead told them when wed be in town and told us only 2 if us, no need to reserve..last minute i called back when estimated time game over and didnt have alot of times available..
