There are an ABUNDANCE of sandwich shops in this area of Hamden. After holding off from trying Fat Wedge U for a while because of my regular orders elsewhere, I am now kicking myself for not coming here sooner. They set themselves by staying true to their name and delivering absolutely delicious FAT WEDGES. Highly recommend.
Oh my God some of the most unique humongous flavor pack sandwiches ever the Canadian tater tot’s are out of this world everything under one roof you can ask for a must stop for people that love humongous grinders!
This was one of those iconic places that only come around once a few decades. Food was too good, there will never be another fat wedge u. I miss this place so much, so sad that the owner of the building greedily kicked them out.

Regrettably, the restaurant is no longer in operation due to the building owner's decision to terminate their lease.
