Great place to chill. There’s some games and music boxes if you have a dollar in the wallet.The drinks are great, they’re not shy about a decent beverage, really enjoyed some empanadas here and a Caesar salad. Nice bar top. (Not a bar top connoisseur)Bartender and owner are very friendly, plenty of space if you want but cozy too. I made it la little late for the grand opening, but still enough time to enjoy the night. Great place, awesome atmosphere with excellent live music. The staff is awesome & attentive. Steve is an old friend and an outstanding host. This place is in a perfect location with ample parking. Looking forward to many more enjoyable evenings!

We are so glad we had the chance to stop into Tavern by the Hall. It's a nice place that is open a bit later and saves you from having to drive into New Haven to drink past 8pm on a weekday. The drinks are spot on & the owner and bar tender are super friendly.
