“It's always a pleasure stopping by to get my spinach patties every week. Today Shernette took my order over the phone while Arline prepared it and ensured that I didn't have to wait long upon arriving.
Kree does the baking and is always willing to put some extra spinach patties in the oven when they are running low.
Ms. Yvonne and AnnMarie are very pleasant and polite.
The staff at Golden Krust really do make me feel like they care.“

“The hype is real!!! Get the Cheyney Sandwich, you won’t be disappointed. Very delicious, perfect blend of flavors and good portion size. I also tried the beef patty which hit the spot too. The atmosphere was pleasant and they are very polite. 10/10 recommend“

“The food Is pretty good. The service isn't bad. It's just a bit unorganized and quite slow. They only accept cash, but they do have a ATM area. You can differently have a conversation and talk.It's in a church cafeteria. I would encourage. Trying to at least once. The turkey wings are my favorite from this location.“

“Unassuming takeout only West Indian Restaurant. I have been a few times and the food is always excellent! I love the Jerk Chicken, peas and rice with Oxtail Gravy and Stewed Cabbage. Just the right amount of heat and the smoky flavor of the chicken is perfect! The cabbage is sweeter than I am used to, but I enjoyed it. It helped cut the heat. Parking can be difficult when it's busy, but so worth it!!!“

“I was disappointed because the servings of food are not consistent, one server makes sure to ask what you need and the food is good but the next server the following week really disappoint the rice was swimming in gravy it was so bad that it looked like dog food and I guess she didn't care about great service because the oxtails had 6 of the smallest pieces of oxtails that I have seen; this was so disappointing it felt like I had begged for some food. WOW“

“This restaurant is a hidden gem. Every time I enter the restaurant the gentleman always greets and asked how can I help. The service and the food is excellent it’s fresh and you always get service with a smile. I highly recommend eating here if your looking for some island cuisine.“

“The Rasta pasta is sooo good here! I appreciate pasta that is filled up with sauce and this dish did not disappoint. I like how I chose mild and it was still packed with tons of flavor. This is my new go to spot to get some bomb Rasta pasta in the Hartford area. I just wish parking was better here, that’s the only con I can think of.“
