“It's always a pleasure stopping by to get my spinach patties every week. Today Shernette took my order over the phone while Arline prepared it and ensured that I didn't have to wait long upon arriving.

Kree does the baking and is always willing to put some extra spinach patties in the oven when they are running low.

Ms. Yvonne and AnnMarie are very pleasant and polite.

“I've been hearing so many great things about this spot that I just had to visit. The location is small & hard to miss. It's a 'Grab & Go' so there's no indoor seating, however there are two outdoor tables if you absolutely need to eat on site.

The staff is friendly and accommodating. They gave me plenty of recommendations for how to order vegan.

The food was AMAZING. Bursting with flavor, color, & spice. They also have plenty of vegan options, so I will return. Definitely a must visit if you are in the area.“

“I got lucky and found this spot near my job and two days in a row all I have to say is this food feeds my soul. You HAVE to get the wings but if you like seafood their salmon and shrimp hits the spot. Definitely make sure you stop by here. They share the entrance with the barbershop in case you get confused on the entrance.“

“Alright, there is no better Jerk Pork in the United States than Destiny Awaits. From the first bite, I felt like I had just swung by a jerk center in Port Antonio!

I have never tasted such truly authentic food in all of the United States. What was most interesting to me is that the jerk meats have the flavor of being smoked on Pimento wood, which I don't understand how they could have emulated in Hartford, CT.

If you are looking for real Jamaican food that truly sends you back home, you MUST stop here. It's an overwhelming 5* rating from me!“

“Reason why I went to Sunsplash bar and grill last night was the sunsplash on Maple avenue was closed so I went by there to get it by oxtail rice and peas salad oh my God it was so good. Also thier chicken wings are amazing the chicken meat falls off the bones. in the meat is jerked dark on the outside. I don't drink alcohol but they have a bar you can sit down and and they have a sitting area as well nice space nice place nice spot. “I was disappointed because the servings of food are not consistent, one server makes sure to ask what you need and the food is good but the next server the following week really disappoint the rice was swimming in gravy it was so bad that it looked like dog food and I guess she didn't care about great service because the oxtails had 6 of the smallest pieces of oxtails that I have seen; this was so disappointing it felt like I had begged for some food.
