“Delicious jerk chicken and brisket! The chicken in particular was cooked beautifully and had great heat and flavor. We got the combo platter at the Continuum event yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it. I didn't get a chance to come over myself to say hello since I was inside, but I'm glad my husband and I got to enjoy the BBQ for lunch. See you guys again!“

“Bliss Vybz has always had delicious food but I had the pleasure of experiencing the catering services last week and was very pleased! They arrived on time and made sure everything was in place and being appropriately heated before they left. The curried goat and curried chicken were well seasoned and paired well with the white rice. The jerk chicken was authentic, smokey and delicious! The rice and peas and steamed cabbage complimented the meal and soaked up all of the flavors from the the gravies! The salmon bites were the talk of the party! They were so tender and flavorful! The service and attention to detail they provided was outstanding! I definitely recommend them for any event corporate or personal! There is so much more food to try. You will not be disappointed!“

“The owner is so nice, we enjoyed Everything we tried. I am not a fan of spice and loved the Rasta pasta he let me try it first. The wings were cooked perfectly and the crispy fries were amazing. Also we had the Cheeseburger and so yummy and juicy and you can’t beat his prices. Definitely will be back and we can’t wait, Thank-you. Definitely a 10!“

This place is a diamond in the rough. The food is deLICious! ESPECIALLY the smoked/bar-b-qued chicken. OMG, could eat that every day!

The owner talked to us for about 20 minutes. (Nice guy!) Over the past 5 years he’s had to keep increasing the size of his smoker because of the increase in customers. He’s about to do it again. The new one will fit 15 spits! Let that be an indication of how good this food is!

There were a few things I wish were different. There was no menu at the counter and nothing was labeled. If you’re not familiar with Caribbean dishes, you won’t know what to order. Of COURSE they’ll help you, but labels/menu would help. Also a larger selection of drinks would be nice. (Meaning non-alcoholic drinks.)

And, yeah, the place isn’t pretty. But, folks, you don’t HAVE to eat there. We did, and that’s how we met the owner. Worth it!

“First time ever going into J’Stax.I felt instantly welcomed.The aroma of flavors was amazing. Food was fresh from the kitchen as I was ordering my food. The lady who served me was very patient and kind, so were the customers. They helped me out ordering since I wasn’t 100% sure of what I wanted everything looked amazing. And the taste of the jerk chicken, ox tails and curry chicken was absolutely incredible. Chef’s kiss honestly the meat was tender and full of flavors. Definitely will be returning soon.“
