“have eaten at Empire Jamaica Fusion Restaurant many times, and I can honestly say it is the best Jamaican restaurant in Poughkeepsie and the Hudson Valley.

Michelle, the chef and owner, is incredibly talented and welcoming. She makes every guest feel right at home from the moment they walk in.

The jerk chicken is a perfect 10/10, and the oxtail is just as outstanding—tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Even the homemade salad dressings are amazing and full of flavor.

If you're looking for authentic Jamaican food and warm hospitality, this is the place to go. I absolutely love this restaurant and highly recommend it!“

“The shrimp Rasta pasta is really so good also the Mac and cheese .. But I can’t say the same abt the oxtail plate I got with rice and peas and yams …. Expensive dish to only get 4 small oxtails .. the yams was flavorless the best thing was rice peas even tho it coulda some more gravy. But I’m willing to always give another chance“
