It's a really nice little cafe, and make wonderful place to come, grab a cup of Joe and then read a book. The staff are an amazing bunch and they will pick up on your name if you become a regular just FYI
The above is a quote from GB Shaw that was written on the wall of the New London Cafe and it complimented the brilliant breakfast I had today. It really was the best poached egg breakfast I have had and the chef clearly took pride in their job. We stumbled on this cafe today and then looked it up on Trip Advisor after breakfast. We were not surprised at the number of excellent reviews and have no doubt they will keep coming. To be honest we chose it because it was one stop away...
I was definitely surprised to find this little hidden gem a few months ago. However recent changes to the menu and staff is the reason why I only gave it 3 stars. The fries have changed and are no longer good. BRING BACK THE BATTERED FRIES!!!! Also I went yesterday and my toast was completely burnt. So until the London Cafe changes back to the battered fries, I will limit my visits. This saddens me. On the flip side I always get GREAT customer service from the gentleman who takes...
