“My wife and I just moved to Norwich and were on the hunt for a regular pizza place, and I think we found it in Asylum Street Pizza. We ordered online for delivery, so the rating for atmosphere is mostly just reiteration for service. The shop was out of a dessert option and called immediately to offer a replacement. Both the worker on the phone and their delivery driver were extremely kind and polite. Delivery was quick, and the food was delicious.“

“This is our first time ordering delivery we picked Longos cause it's not far from our home. I'd say I did my order maybe 30 min ago. Look up and delivery driver is here I said to the driver Wow that was fast.... his reply we got hungry mouths to feed. ? I will definitely be ordering from them again. His love for people, good food and parties are his strong point/trait. Customer Service at its best! He made sure everyone had the best experience! Every dish was awesome and he WOW'd everyone at the wedding! We were so happy with La Stella Catering that we will be back there again with parties that we have and visiting his restaurant as much as possible. He deserves the highest ranking!“

“Recently moved back to CT from Texas and found myself here with a friend for date night. LG Pizza and a pitcher for $25 seemed like a good enough deal to us, and wow!!!! The pizza was fantastic and the bartender, Andrew was even better!! Friend and I stayed later than we planned, but the atmosphere was friendly and the service great. “Longshots was once one of my favorite places to go on any given night of the week to grab a beer or drink or appetizers. Berto, Heather, and Brianna have all treated me like family for YEARS there. HOWEVER...I had an issue with my debit card that had FAR MORE than an adequate balance available to pay my bill. I attempted alternative means of payment which also unexpectedly and unfortunately failed (something that has never previously occurred at any point when I have gone to Longshots). I was extremely frustrated at being unable to pay and was working through the credit card situation and headed to the in-house ATM instead to try to withdraw the cash to pay the bill. At this point, the woman behind the bar, who is apparently the owner yelled, "Excuse me, sir, where are you going?????" as if I were intending to leave without paying. After unsuccessfully attempting to withdraw from the ATM, I confronted the woman about her implying that I was trying to leave restaurant without paying. I let her know that I was a long-time patron of Longshots (since 2013) and that she could call Berto or any of the other waitstaff and they would vouch for my integrity as a customer. Despite ultimately having settled my bill and tip with my server, the owner instead called and had me pursued down Route 32 by a Montville Police officer on the grounds that I had used "inappropriate language with her at the bar," which I explained to the very reasonable officer who stopped me that I had in fact taken exception to her implying that I intended to leave without paying. He immediately released me without further incident, but I will never set foot in Longshots again after this incidence of harassment despite my close, long-standing ties to the fine waitstaff there...“
