“10/10 came from out of state for a quick bit to eat. This is the rigatoni chicken parm! Perfect amount of crispiness and the vodka sauce is to die for. The “bottom of the pit” mixed drink was ammmmazzzinnggg. Apple crisp for dessert is the perfect ending. Can’t forget about the Carolina gold dipping sauce for the sweet potato fries!! Best food ever! “Wow, I dont even know where to start! I visited Marlborough Pizza for the very first time yesterday and was quite blown away. As soon as my family and I walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and a hello from the staff members. These days nobody ever looks up to acknowledge anyone anmore. They work as a team over there, one lady sat us whyle the other wemt to fetch menus and Utensils right away. My boyfriend and I had his small children with us and they were WILD, lol tons of energy and loud and not once did the staff make us feel uncomfortable or unwelcomed. So for that I thank you. Also the food was PHENOMENAL! Pizza was great and had fresh garlic on it not garlic powder like most places. And the wings were mot soggy and they used real Buffalo sauce, not watered down hot sauce. I was impressed al around and cannot wait to go back.“

Happy hour EVERY DAY 2-6 (buy two drinks, get a FREE small pizza 2-5p, and other great deals). This was honestly the BEST pizza I have had in a LOOOOONG time. For reference, my usual favorites are Mondo in Middletown and Modern in New Haven. Square Peg is at that level for me now. We ordered 1. Bianco + bacon, 2. Pepperoni, and 3. Spicy Margarita and I’d rank them in that order. Probably wouldn’t order the margarita again, but the other two…. No doubt in my mind that we’ll be back for these. The bottom crust was thin and floppy, but stable and not soggy. The sauce was light, not chunky or overpowering. Perfectly sliced meat for a good char but still tender. The edge crust was super soft and flavorful, good char, nice bubbles, not chewy or cracker-y. 5/5 couldn’t ask for anything better (except a golden canoli).“

My husband and I always order general tso combination plates. “I never ever write reviews, but this place was outstanding and deserves it. My fiance and I went to a comedy night this past Friday. It was our first time going there, even though we live 6 min down the road.(I know, we've been missing out!) The bar staff was amazing in explaining the various types of wine, even allowing sampling before purchasing a glass. I've been to many wineries and the food/snacks are always overpriced. I love that you can purchase snacks here at a reasonable price AND they allow you to bring your own food-so fun! The atmosphere was cozy and just so beautiful. The show was great, we didn't stop laughing the entire time. We also met Toby and chatted with Karen and her husband,Larry? I believe. They gave us a quick history of how the winery came to be and they just seemed like the most genuine, nicest people ever. (Toby was the main attraction though!) We can't wait to go back again soon and try more wines/beers and join in the events that take place. It's such a beautiful, friendly place that is so welcoming. if you haven't been, run!
