“I really love this little bakery. I was in a bind and needed a cake within two days and every other place that I contacted said they could not do what I needed. For reference it was a white cake, with a picture of Ronald McDonald on it with a raked texture and matching frame. So in my opinion it was a cake that was not complex, but for some reason the large grocery stores refused me. When I went in to Nonnie’s , everyone was so warm and kind. They were personable and became really invested in my silly McDonald's Birthday Cake Debacle. The cake was loved by all that ate it. Very light, but fulfilling. I would recommend anyone who needs baking done, to take a visit to Nonnie’s. They treat you like family , their prices are VERY fair and I will definitely return again.? also there Italian cookies next level good! I plan to grab some more in a couple days.?“

“Wonderful all around!!! My grandson wanted a gender reveal for his soon to be sibling at his 7th birthday. Amy's orders were: gender reveal, with some chocolate cake AND by the way he wants a Minecraft cake. Amy did not disappoint. Cake was delicious, top layer PINK bottom chocolate. Awesome design. I'd highly recommend Amy Cakes for any occasion. Oh and staff personable and fun!“

“We have stopped here many times for ice cream, but this time, I ordered an ice cream cake. It was delicious and decorated, just as asked. We ordered the strawberry and vanilla with the crunches in between. We got the 7 inch round for 4 people to have 2 slices each. It was the perfect size. I co-opened a bakery called Neighborhoods cafe in Fenway in 2012, and I did all the baking.I can say with confidence that this place has some of the best cupcakes I’ve ever tasted: ever.I got six different ones, cut them in half, and tried a few bites of each.First off: I was BLOWN AWAY by the mint. I don’t think people realize how challenging it is to get that mint-cookie flavor, and both the vegan and the traditional cupcakes here nailed it!All cupcakes had a fun surprise filling in the middle (I love when bakers do that), and the cookie dough icing had texture AND TASTE (how, I may never know) of a light cookie dough!I think the cannoli topped one was my favorite but I all were beyond my expectation.No, they don’t have a million options, that’s because they do a few things exceedingly well. Bravo!!!6 stars!!!!This bakery is located in a massive brick building shared by other stores. It was hard to find the handicap entrance but there is one on the side!!!“

“This place is great! It had the "mom and pop" vibes that makes you know a bakery is going to be good. Service was good. Greeted immediately when I came in and she had good recommendations for what to buy to get myself to the credit card minimum. I was in and out in under three minutes. The food here is INCREDIBLE. I had a crumb cake and it was perfect in every way. My sister had a cannoli and said it was the best she's ever had. I felt that the brownies were too thin and dry, but the flavor profile was good.“
