Twice this week it was not busy when I ordered and on two separate orders, I asked for to substitute the sodas for coffee shakes. The first time they were Chocolate shakes. So, I order an extra coffee shake on the Carvel side as my brother is allergic to Chocolate. I went in tonight and order my brother's meal for him. When I ordered I made sure to announced that it was a Coffee Shake, TWICE. While waiting, I noticed the female trainer had the trainee put a medium Vanilla Shake instead. When the buzzer went off, not only was there no shake ready but was asked: "Oh, you had a vanilla shake too, right?" "NO! Coffee!" Another wait as they made the coffee shake I originally ordered. Baseball season is upon us, hopefully, you don't strike out if I (we) come in again. Advice - Check your orders placing and receiving them.“

“I recently tried the chicken parm grinder at Mad River Creamery & Deli, and it was a really solid choice. The chicken cutlet was nicely breaded, tender, and held up well under the sauce. The marinara was flavorful — tangy with a hint of sweetness — and there was a generous amount of melted cheese that pulled everything together. The bread was fresh and hearty with a nice toasted soft crunch to it , the kind of roll that didn’t get soggy after a few bites, which made the sandwich feel substantial but balanced. I liked that there was a good ratio of chicken to sauce to bread. Service was friendly and efficient, owner welcomed us and provided free ice cream samples as we waited for our grinders ( husband got the steak and cheese for his 3rd time ) being a deli, the portion felt more like a meal than a quick snack. Had went to visit this Brazilian American café, Junior's Lunches as it happened to be something, that had caught my husband and I's eye as we were going down to visit Naugatuck, Connecticut for my husband's appointment in renewing/updating his Portuguese passport at the Portuguese Consulate. We were feeling in the mood of wanting to try one of their desserts, (which happened to be the Mousse, Assados, along with a water. I believe I had ordered a Passionfruit Mousse and my husband had ordered...a Vanilla flavored Assados with water).

After eating my Passionfruit Mousse, for some reason, I believe it wasn't agreeing with my system and was in urgent need of a bathroom...I would assume when the employees were making these, they had put too much sugar or, something within the mousse. Overall, I would mention, that my husband and I had enjoyed trying out one of their desserts but, I guess next time; I would have to come prepared with a water and a nearby bathroom...Lol!“

“Needed a quick dinner after a very busy day. It was quick, surprisingly tasty and satisfying.
We had impossible Whoppers. The last time we tried them, a few years ago, they tasted like cardboard. This time they tasted amazing with mayo, onion and pickles, I don't like catsup. Texture was like a real beef Whopper. Ordered online and picked them up ASAP. They were ready when we arrived.
Only issue was the lights in the parking lot were out. It was very dark in the parking lot.“
