Everything was hot, flavorful, and perfectly put together. The coffee was also excellent, which is always a huge bonus. Great food, great quality — I’ll definitely be back!“

“Absolutely phenomenal shop! Not sure what to rave about first: the food, the taste, the owners… All outstanding. I made a trip over an hour long to come for their pumpkin French toast bagel. It didn’t live up to the hype in my head; it far exceeded it! And toasted paired with maple brown sugar cream cheese was an out of body experience. Meeting the owners, even briefly, they are fantastic people who are extremely personable, thoughtful, and dedicated beyond belief. The shop is super cute inside and with place to sit and enjoy. Absolutely will be a regular stop from now on, whether on or out of the way.“

“I had a fantastic experience at this bagel shop! I had the vegetarian sandwich, and it was absolutely delicious – fresh, flavorful, and packed with tasty ingredients. The bagels were amazing too; I grabbed a few to take home, and they were just as good the next day. The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. “I don't normally frequent downtown Bridgeport, but when I had jury duty a couple years ago I stopped here for a bagel. The other day I had to get my nephew to school so I remembered this place was good. I asked if they had anything on the menu with no meat (he's vegetarian) and there was one thing, so we got that for hom to bring to lunch. It was cream cheese, veggies, looked pretty good. No complaints. Also got a muffin for breakfast. About 9 bucks. The place was fairly clean, not that busy when we got there, only 1 other patron. If I had reasons to be downtown, This would be my spot over the Dunkin donuts. It's pretty cozy inside. Im sure it gets busy once city hall opens, but this early (7am) it was pretty nice. I've never had a bad bal at bagel king. Wish I had pictures! Guess I have a reason to go back!“

“This is one of my family's go to pizza places in the greater New Haven area. We've tried most of the menu items and from the first day it opened until today we have been regulars. The quality of the food is very good. Our favorite items are the large pizza and garlic knots. The pasta options are also very good as well as the eggplant parmesean. In the summer, you can also get soft serve ice cream.
We have also placed catering orders and were pleased with the quality, quantity and price of the dishes.“

“Bruegger’s Bagels in Trumbull absolutely saved the day for us on Friday, December 12. When a last-minute catering issue left us scrambling just before a major morning event, their team jumped in without hesitation and helped us pull together bagels and coffee for a large group on very short notice.

The staff was calm, accommodating, and incredibly efficient—and thanks to them, we walked into our event right on time with everything we needed. We’re so grateful for their professionalism and willingness to help when it mattered most. Truly a clutch moment, and we can’t thank them enough!

“I live in the area and stop in from time to time to grab pastries and coffee or lunch. I love their pastries. Ended up with a croissant that had just come out of the oven! Hands down one of the best I've ever had. All the workers are really nice and it's a cute little shop with nice indoor and outdoor seating when the weather is nice.“
