Everything is fresh and cooked to perfection.Their made in house soups, beet chic pea burgers, grain bowls, burgers, Plainville chicken sandwich, onion rings, fresh cut fries are all fantastic! “As perfect as a an outing for lunch or quick dinner you can get. If you love steamed cheeseburgers, this is your place! Perfect combination of gooey-soft white cheddar cheese and fresh, hot and steaming, juicy burger. Chocolate milk shake round out the meal. Bun was soft and fresh. Great spot, don't change a thing. And they have Foxon Park sodas on tap! Birch Beer, Cream Soda and Root Beer! (along with more in bottles). Great meal!“

“STRIKE 2, FULL COUNT NOW. - This is a better choice for fast food in town. Great food, fresh every time. Twice this week it was not busy when I ordered and on two separate orders, I asked for to substitute the sodas for coffee shakes. The first time they were Chocolate shakes. So, I order an extra coffee shake on the Carvel side as my brother is allergic to Chocolate. I went in tonight and order my brother's meal for him. When I ordered I made sure to announced that it was a Coffee Shake, TWICE. While waiting, I noticed the female trainer had the trainee put a medium Vanilla Shake instead. When the buzzer went off, not only was there no shake ready but was asked: "Oh, you had a vanilla shake too, right?" "NO! Coffee!" Another wait as they made the coffee shake I originally ordered. Baseball season is upon us, hopefully, you don't strike out if I (we) come in again. Advice - Check your orders placing and receiving them.“

“I recently tried the chicken parm grinder at Mad River Creamery & Deli, and it was a really solid choice. The chicken cutlet was nicely breaded, tender, and held up well under the sauce. The marinara was flavorful — tangy with a hint of sweetness — and there was a generous amount of melted cheese that pulled everything together. The bread was fresh and hearty with a nice toasted soft crunch to it , the kind of roll that didn’t get soggy after a few bites, which made the sandwich feel substantial but balanced. I liked that there was a good ratio of chicken to sauce to bread. Service was friendly and efficient, owner welcomed us and provided free ice cream samples as we waited for our grinders ( husband got the steak and cheese for his 3rd time ) being a deli, the portion felt more like a meal than a quick snack. The atmosphere at Mad River Creamery & Deli is welcoming — cozy and laid-back, perfect for grabbing a bit with a friend (or after getting some ice cream). Already know what I want when I return . “We visited on 1/3/25, and could not have been more pleased. The food was absolutely amazing. We had the apple pie waffle, chorizo skillet, and corned beef hash. The portions were large, and the food was fresh, hot, and seasoned so well. The restaurant was busy for good reason, and the staff was so friendly. We will definitely be back, thank you for a great experience!“

“My husband and I recently went here and enjoyed our meal here. I got the Cheesy Burger - so four slices of cheese between two burger patties with an inverted bun. It honestly tasted like a grilled cheese and it was difficult at times to taste the meat. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his bacon burger. We also got fries, cheese curds and a milkshake. All of them were extremely tasty and things we would get again. I believe the website said they use Blue Bunny ice cream so not the typical ultra creamy ice cream I've had in other Connecticut establishments, which I'm cool with. Overall, we both enjoyed our meals and would go back to try their other items.“

It’s like a “secret”, “online” restaurant where they prepare whats in the menu but do not have it in theirs or in their system (Friendly’s). “I'm new in the Bristol area. One day I decided to come eat at friendlys and ever since I've been coming here. They are friendly here, the food is always fresh, neatly served and delicious. I love it and so does my 9 year old daughter. I'd recommend friedlys to others any day , and I do actually. My niece comes here too now with me all the time

Vegetarian options: I see they have broccoli and beef bites I haven't tried the new item yet but I'm sooo looking forward to it ! Yummy
