The bar and restaurant was busy but Alex, Carlos and all of the staff hustled and the food was hot, tasted wonderful and of course left me wanting desert. If you have not visited this establishment, you are missing out. This is our second visit here and we are absolutely in love with this restaurant. From its eclectic decor, super attentive staff to its fabulously fantastic tasting tapas and entrees....where do I truly begin. The owners ( Rob, is always stopping by to say hello and check in) are visible and make you feel welcomed, my waitress Alyssa was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was delicious. The pictures below do no justice to the flavors that pop as you are eating them. You can't wait to come back. Oh I almost forgot....the drinks....the best Sangrias!!!! Yes! “My girlfriend and I love trying new restaurants and today was the Hop Haus. I must say from the minute we walked in, we felt happy as the place was warm and friendly. Mary, our bartender, did an excellent job making sure we had everything we needed. I said to myGirlfriend, I guess there really is “something about Mary”. The menu impressed me with its creativity, especially the perfectly executed Brussels sprouts and the Chicken Scarpariello, which was flavorful and not dry at all. However, the highlight for me was surprisingly simple: the freshly made bread served with honey and butter. It was absolutely divine. Highly recommend Morava for anyone looking for top-notch food and service!“

“Who knew this local bar has a legit Taco Tuesday!??Located on West Main St in Meriden is Maloney's Pub. Sad to say I have lived here for 20+ years and just started going to this establishment. I was missing out. Bar staff is very nice, provide good service. Drink prices are reasonable and they have mostly any liquor you want. If they don't they will order it for the next time you go! I knew they served food but general go after the kitchen is closed (after 10pm). I went on a Tuesday and overheard someone ordering tacos. I ordered 2 chicken tacos. So good! The ingredients were so fresh and chicken was seasoned perfectly. I am a huge fan of salsa verde and this was the best I've had. Tacos were $2 a piece & draft beers are $3 on Tuesday. Good food, cheap night!“

“Music was good. The bartender (Nina, I think?) had a wonderful and inviting bubbly personality. She was fast and welcoming. The parking situation was not great, very limited and we got there pretty early in the evening. We weren't jiving with the vibe of the crowd and left. Younger reguetton hookah crowd not for me, but overall good based on the short time we were there.“

“Nice little hidden gem. Located on a main road and there is street parking in front. Menu had quite an offering and something for everyone. The wings and nachos were delicious. The decor was nice and inviting . The bartender Jessica was fabulous, the other girls were friendly as well. They have a pretty good happy house menu so definitely I'll go there again. Worth the drive for me for sure.They also have a banquet room available for parties there too.Definitely check this place out for some delicious food and good pricing.“
