“Music was good. The bartender (Nina, I think?) had a wonderful and inviting bubbly personality. She was fast and welcoming. The parking situation was not great, very limited and we got there pretty early in the evening. We weren't jiving with the vibe of the crowd and left. Younger reguetton hookah crowd not for me, but overall good based on the short time we were there.“
“We ate here late on a Sunday night (8:15) before heading out on a long drive. Everything was perfect - the atmosphere was really warm and somehow both super calm and happy; the menu was awesome and the food was really delicioius, and the service was attentive and fast, but not rushed.“
“Let me start off with, I really love this place! The game and drink options are great and the service is pretty good, but it would be nice if they could keep the games serviced better. More than a few of the games I played had non-functioning buttons and the coin slots ate my money without giving credits.“

Wonderful atmosphere, smooth music and the owners never miss the opportunity to stop buy your table and say friendly hello. Now the food, just exceptional (!) always fresh and creative, new items added to the menu. Love the tapas, small dishes that allow to try the culinary talents of the chef. “I wish I could explain how wonderful this food is but I just can't. I've been in my truck, 1000 miles from home just wanting a GOOD meal. A truck driver friend recommended this place and I did not get a good meal, I got a GREAT meal. Perfectly crispy fried Pickles, perfectly crispy and sauced chicken wings, perfectly chopped side salad, perfectly seasoned Poutine Tots, perfectly mixed homemade ranch. “Very cozy local bar! Staff is very professional and personable. The bar side is separated from George's pizza restaurant, which is nice to know there are multiple ways to dine. My husband and I came for drinks and appetizers. The old-fashioned Tony made for us was crafted beautifully. He made the drink with finesse that showed he was versed in his craft. (Eta, my drink was full and delicious. I only thought to photograph it after I started drinking it). In the video, I filmed him creating an expresso martini (he did exquisitely dress them with expresso beans after I cut the video). Our apps were the coconut shrimp and jalapeño poppers. The coconut shrimp was delightful and cooked very nicely. It also came with a flavorful dipping sauce. The poppers were good, and as an app, both were portioned appropriately. Cannot wait to return and try more of the food menu as well as enjoy the inviting feel of this well established local bar!“
“Who knew this local bar has a legit Taco Tuesday!??Located on West Main St in Meriden is Maloney's Pub. Sad to say I have lived here for 20+ years and just started going to this establishment. I was missing out. Bar staff is very nice, provide good service. Drink prices are reasonable and they have mostly any liquor you want. If they don't they will order it for the next time you go! I knew they served food but general go after the kitchen is closed (after 10pm). I went on a Tuesday and overheard someone ordering tacos. I ordered 2 chicken tacos. So good! The ingredients were so fresh and chicken was seasoned perfectly. I am a huge fan of salsa verde and this was the best I've had. Tacos were $2 a piece & draft beers are $3 on Tuesday. Good food, cheap night!“
“My favorite local watering hole.I’ve been going to Ideal Tavern for years now and I absolutely love it. The food is always on point, great selection of craft beers and even better craft cocktails. The bartenders are always friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is amazing. And they ALWAYS are playing the best music. Whatever playlist they’re using it has always been on point for years. Can’t recommend Ideal Tavern enough, my favorite spot in Southington.“
“I love going to Muyuri! Their food is delicious. My favorite is Chicken Korma with the spice level medium. I like that you can alter the spice level. The atmosphere is beautiful. The workers are always friendly and give great recommendations. They now have a bar with delicious drink specials. If you have not tried this place yet, definitely but it on your list.“
“Nice little hidden gem. Located on a main road and there is street parking in front. Menu had quite an offering and something for everyone. The wings and nachos were delicious. The decor was nice and inviting . The bartender Jessica was fabulous, the other girls were friendly as well. They have a pretty good happy house menu so definitely I'll go there again. Worth the drive for me for sure.They also have a banquet room available for parties there too.Definitely check this place out for some delicious food and good pricing.“
