Had a party of ten tonight for my brothers birthday. Many of us in the area have not been here before and it was an absolutely awesome time. Food, atmosphere and service was wonderful. Zach was with our table and he was so accommodating, with top customer service communication. Couldn’t recommend it higher. A must if and when in the area. We will be back. Thanks Zach and chef !

I took my wife out to The Smithy last night for dinner for our anniversary. The second we walked in, we were greeted by a very kind young lady, who was very warm & hospitable and immediately seated us. After we were seated, our waiter RJ came over, introduced himself to us and told us about the daily specials, soup of the day, entrees and took our drink order. What impressed me the most other than the food, was when RJ took our order, he said “ladies first of course”....
1st time visit today and I’ll be back time and time again! Fabulous old school Steakhoise! Steaks cooked to perfection. Best baked potato, fluffy, fresh and hot hot hot!! And they have a salad bar. Exceeded all expectations. Simply the best in the Fairfield and New Haven counties. Bravo!!
