“We found West Shore Seafood a couple years ago and have been going back each summer with family and friends for our seafood fix. Absolutely love the location, dog friendly atmosphere, and selection of food & drinks. Our go to order we love is the fish sandwich, salmon BLT, onion strings and Caesar salad. Sometimes there's a wait or a line but completely worth it. Highly recommend to anyone looking for quality & tasty food in the area.“

“Amazing Thai restaurant in the area! The service was very friendly and welcoming. We tried the Thai Pao Coconut Chicken, the coconut soup, and the eggplant dish — all were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The presentation of the plates was also beautiful. The restaurant has a warm atmosphere, and the decorations with plants make it feel cozy and inviting. Definitely a place I recommend and will be coming back to!“

“I happened to meet Tom Kelly while visiting Newport, RI, where he introduced to this bourbon from my home state of Connecticut. His depth of knowledge about the product intrigued me and I told him that back in Atlanta, I host a monthly meet up dubbed the B4 Group (beef, beer, bourbon & boys.) We, in part, we'll sample about 5 new bourbons each time and we'll try any and all newcomers. Tom suggested we bring a bottle of Litchfield back to toss into the mix, which he helped make it happen. It turned out to be a big hit with the guys and I got to showcase a bourbon from my home state of CT. Thanks again, Tom!“

“I'm a Field Tech from Western MA. A friend of mine took me to Jimmy's 45 years ago. Torrington is a ways to go, but I take jobs there just so I can go to Jimmy's. In 45 years little has changed, especially the quality of the prepared foods. I was raised on Italian food, and this is as good as it gets. I have a job in Torrington tomorrow. See you for lunch, and get something special for Sunday dinner. And the staff there is a joy as well.“

“So I have to give so much praise to this winery. First off Jeff is absolutely amazing. I reached out to him back in Feburary asking about using the winery to get married in April and Jeff was so easy to talk to and was so easy to make plans with so I had the best day. Second off a huge shoutout to the staff of the winery. I was married on April 13th 2024 and it was rainy, windy, and incredibly cold. They let us get married on their deck and out of the rain no questions asked. I went back today on 4/15 to pick up a bottle of wine because I want to have it to drink on my one year wedding anniversary of a wonderful memory of the beautiful place we got married at. The ladies behind the bar were so kind and helped me pick the best wine to my liking. Thank you so much for giving me a beautiful place to get married and a beautiful place to have created beautiful memories with those I love the most. She makes the croissants and English muffin bread from scratch, and uses the thickest bacon around on her sandwiches. I received kind and patient help with the ordering process and what I picked up was a beautiful cake with the perfect decorative touches. “First time I’ve been here. Most everything was excellent. Amongst things I had was a hibachi combo with broccoli. The sauce was a little “too much” in terms of thickness/sweetness/quantity, but not bad. I requested the broccoli to be cooked soft and it came out excellent ! (Thanks)

“We have been to Uncommon many times and the food is always amazing and we have always had a great experience all around but I want to say we had the absolute best service here tonight so I wanted to thank our server Justin D. for an outstanding dining experience tonight. Justin was professional and has a really fun personality. Even though the restaurant was crazy busy we never had to ask for anything, Justin was just there anytime we needed anything. The support staff also did an amazing job tonight as well keeping the table clear of empty glasses and dishes and running food. Just an over all lovely experience.“

“We had the most wonderful experience at Saltwater Grille on Saturday night! After accidentally liking the Facebook page for this restaurant rather than a similarly named one in my town, I’ve spent the last few months looking at the posts and thinking I have to visit this place. The opportunity came to bring someone special there for his birthday and it was just amazing. Having eaten probably thousands of meals in restaurants I can tell you that I met the best server ever - Suzy. She was attentive without being intrusive, personable without being over the top and she has an amazing sense of humor. The food was outstanding as well which rounded out a perfect evening! We’re already planning another visit up when it’s warmer and we can enjoy the patio and live music!!“
