We're very picky locals and The Shipwright's Daughter never disappoints. This our go to place for fine dining. Food is innovative and delicious, service is friendly and impeccable, and the atmosphere perfect for a romantic dining experience. Five stars and well deserved.
We just had a pretzel which was good. But the service was terrible. It was unclear whether we were supposed to order inside or someone would come to our table. But when someone did come to our table they were super impatient and quickly took our order, but never came back. Not a great experience.

We love going to the Mystic seaport and this was a great pub! The food was terrific and the beer was great. You order inside of the counter and they bring it to your table outside. They also have indoor seating. Would recommend if you are going to see the historic village.Kid-friendliness: Great for the kids because you sit outside.
