Authentic and Tasty! There is a whole bar for you to eat and drink and a dining room with many tables. Espresso is very popular and one of my favorite especially after a delicious meal.
Visiting the town of Naugatuck for Portuguese cuisine the other day, we had a pleasant lunch at Santos' Restaurant. We sat at the bar. Asking for a spiked water, the owner said he just got some in because people were asking for them. He gave us menus and place settings. I asked about the quail appetizer because I couldn't remember when I last saw this option on a menu. He said they were small but very good and sold individually. We ordered two. The atmosphere was PERFECT! The waitstaff, Rui, was attentive and pleasant. He took his time with us ordering. The food was AMAZING! The chef is a step above the rest. She came out to the table to talk to us, and you can see her passion for the food she makes. No recipe in the world can duplicate these dishes as she makes them with love like she is cooking for her own family! We will most definitely be returning for another round!
