“I actually go to the location in East Hartford... but both locations are delicious. My buddies and I from work go here at least once a week. The dogs are amazing, as are the burgers. Everything is cooked on the flat top grill, and as such, the burgers are not the big fat variety. If you know that going in, they are perfect. The staff is always very engaging and fun, the food is consistent, and I think the prices are very fair. Give these guys a shot... from breakfast sandwiches to lunch food, I have never been disappointed.“

“Our order: 1st plate: sausage & 2 eggs toast & 1 pancake 2nd plate: omelette with green peppers; tomateo & cheese ( no toast or meat) 1 pancake ---1 cup of coffee each!! COST: $33.34! Outrageous! The young waitress forgot to put in for 1 pancake as partner requested a little late but she completely forgot altogether & then told us it was almost done, should have admitted dde forgot to put in for it! Then she never came back to get us a 2nd cup of coffee. Busy at times but it only takes 10 seconds to pour coffee & the mugs are extremely small! Seems she catered to larger tables (bigger tips)! Way too expensive for the poor service. Prices on menu online are not updated“

“I just want to start out by saying the Weekend Before Thanksgiving got away from me. I was hospitalized overnight Sunday into Monday and woke in a panic Monday. I was scheduled to make a lasagne for my family Thanksgiving gathering for Thursday. I posted on the Middletown Facebook page and Carmella messaged me! She assured me she could handle a lasagne for 20-25 people and boy was she right! I picked it up Wednesday at 3pm. She came out to say Hi, her staff was excellent & courteous. There were other folks there picking up Thanksgiving take out. My family was thrilled and the lasagne was excellent. As I am tryping this, I am eating the last piece at almost 2am Tuesday morning. Kudos to Carmella and all involved. We will be in to try out breakfast soon. One Million Stars and Many Thanks.“

“First time here and I will return. Next time, I’ll bring my daughters. I chose the Sloppy Waffle Breakfast meal and was satisfied. Home fries were seasoned well and I really enjoyed the waffle. Will explore them more when I return. The service really sold me! Everyone from the greeter, to the cashier & server were hospitable, attentive & sincere. The owner even came over to make sure I was comfortable. Thank you for this service & experience!

“The food is always fresh and delicious. The service is friendly. I love the flavored coffee. I have been coming here for over 2 years and I have never had a single bad experience. it is convenient to order on the app and go in to pick up. Overall, if you are looking for a new breakfast spot I strongly suggest checking them out. Edited to add. 2 times now I have order the tres leches cake on the app but it wasn’t on the receipt in the store. It was made right both times by the staff but it I am curious why this happened. By the way. The cake is AMAZING.
Dietary restrictions: They have no bread options for their breakfast sandwiches. I get mine in a dish. Meets my dietary requirements of no carbs.“

Parking: Little cumbersome to access as you can’t directly get to from Berlin Turnpike. Need to get to from Lowe’s or Plaza Azteca“

“Honestly, I was there about 3 years ago and food was excellent but service was bad, because no coffee refills....Fast forward to yesterday....MUCH improved ?. Had 4 refills on coffee, bacon was cooked ON POINT, well done just as I like. Home fries were nice and tender too. Service excellent. I enjoy stopping there when my car is being worked on across the street. I no longer live in Central part of CT but my when car needs repairs, I will return to CJ s for a bite to eat!“
