“Outstanding! The customer service was genuine and very welcoming, especially for CT (IYKYK). The menu is vast, and it takes some time to narrow it down and make a decision. “Our order: 1st plate: sausage & 2 eggs toast & 1 pancake 2nd plate: omelette with green peppers; tomateo & cheese ( no toast or meat) 1 pancake ---1 cup of coffee each!! COST: $33.34! Outrageous! The young waitress forgot to put in for 1 pancake as partner requested a little late but she completely forgot altogether & then told us it was almost done, should have admitted dde forgot to put in for it! Then she never came back to get us a 2nd cup of coffee. Busy at times but it only takes 10 seconds to pour coffee & the mugs are extremely small! Seems she catered to larger tables (bigger tips)! Way too expensive for the poor service. Prices on menu online are not updated“

“I just want to start out by saying the Weekend Before Thanksgiving got away from me. I was hospitalized overnight Sunday into Monday and woke in a panic Monday. I was scheduled to make a lasagne for my family Thanksgiving gathering for Thursday. I posted on the Middletown Facebook page and Carmella messaged me! She assured me she could handle a lasagne for 20-25 people and boy was she right! I picked it up Wednesday at 3pm. She came out to say Hi, her staff was excellent & courteous. There were other folks there picking up Thanksgiving take out. My family was thrilled and the lasagne was excellent. As I am tryping this, I am eating the last piece at almost 2am Tuesday morning. Kudos to Carmella and all involved. We will be in to try out breakfast soon. One Million Stars and Many Thanks.“

“I went here for the first time today and I only got a plain bagel with plain cream cheese, y'all it was the best bagel I've ever had, I can't wait to get another one, I also got their hash brown and it was amazing. They also have muffins available so I grabbed a red velvet with cream cheese and it's so delicious. The place is cute and clean and the staff was super sweet as well.“

“TL;DR Love the place! Avoid Tomas
I love the food and the other servers, but Tomas... I've kept this in for so long but my brother in Christ I can't stand that server 😭 We've had three separate incidents with that man and that's the reason why I can't come here if I know he's there.
The first incident we had with Tomas he had us waiting for nearly an hour because he gave our food to the wrong table. Whatever, I'm not going to make a big deal about it and the situation was made a little better when he offered to give us some drinks for free. But then he completely forgot about the drinks and we had to ask him TWICE about it, and then he eventually gave us our food and our drinks but at what cost. My friend gave him their card to pay for our meal and he charged them twice, so we had to come back the next day to get it corrected but he sorta fled the scene.
The second incident is when we ordered and he gave our side pancakes to the wrong table. Things happen, I get it, so we didn't fuss about it. But AGAIN it took him another 20 minutes to bring them out since he kept forgetting. We paid via the app this time so he couldn't charge us twice like the first experience.
Third experience he kept forgetting about our refills; multiple times he would check in on the tables around us but us, and when we would ask him if he could just get out refills he would disappear and not come back. We paid through the app again and we just left without our refills, or else we would've never left the building 💀
Last time we went we were almost stuck with Tomas again, until my friend asked the manager if we could get anyone BUT him and they obliged without any question. His reaction to our request was very understanding, which means they're probably aware of Tomas and all his complaints! Please do something or talk to the guy, I have to constantly avoid getting him as a server or coming here in general because I don't know how I'll react if I'm stuck with him taking my order 🤦🏻♀️ So the place is great and all the other servers are wonderful! Just NOT him!“

“I always enjoy coming here. There’s plenty of parking, which already puts me in a good mood before I even walk in. The service is usually warm and welcoming, and breakfast felt comforting and familiar in the best way. The omelet with spinach and mushrooms is always tasty and filling. The hot chocolate was superb, as always, and honestly one of my favorite things to order. The pancakes and waffles were just what you expect: soft, satisfying, and perfect for a relaxed breakfast. IHOP is usually great and this location is good.“

“This place is full of love and delicious food. I have only been once, and since my appetite has diminished seriously. Over the last 6 months I have not been able to eat much so I don't go out. But it was very good. It ate the most I've eaten in a while. And I want you to know that I witnessed your behavior with your customers and how kind you were to them and how much you knew them. It was a very great place to eat and I would go back again. Or I will go back again. Thank you.“
