“We were looking for a new unique breakfast place during the week and found zinneken's. The music was very loud when walking in- perhaps to cover up the sounds of nearby construction noise. We were surprised that only bottled water was available instead of tap, but not a dealbreaker. The savory poached egg waffle was very nicely served and tasty. We didn't find the seating to be especially comfortable or spacious. The food was great, but overpriced as if it were a more inviting, nicer quality place.“

“I just had breakfast here with my friend. She had gluten sensitivity and I have celiacs. So we were looking for a GF place to have breakfast that we wouldn't get sick! The food was all great and homemade, and the staff were wonderful. Our waitress. Lola was so sweet, caring and attentive! We could not have asked for a better person to explain the GF food there as well! In fact all the gone are GF foods are from Dees Ohe Smart Cookie in Glastonbury, and is a completely GF business, so I felt very happy! And comfortable eating here! The food was fantastic. “Tried them today for first time. Waitress was super friendly. The salted caramel flavored coffee was good. Their home fries are outstanding. I ordered a steak & cheese omelette with no peppers. It came out with peppers but they remade it quickly and gave me more home fries. The whole experience was good. Would definitely go back.“
“I stop in here for to go food all the time, but this Monday morning Isaac's seemed less busy than usual so I grabbed a seat at the counter. I asked if they had corned beef hash since I didn't see it on the menu and it turns out, they do, and it's homemade which they make fresh per order, it was outstanding!!! Treat yourself if you're a fan. The over easy eggs were perfect and the service is always great. Bagels, breakfast, or lunch, lots to love. Definitely stop here when you're in Bloomfield.“

“Gluten free French toast, she warned me of it being cooked on the grill with everything else, (for reference I have a gluten intolerance that speaks up quickly when I consume it haha) and it didn't hurt too bad. “The highlight of my doctor's visits! I wish I knew to stop by sooner. My OBGYN and my daughter's Clinical Feeding is in the building. I always make sure to visit on my way out. The Firebird is my go to! I love the sauce on it. Always made fresh. Delicious! I always make sure to check out the baked goods! There's almost always something special and different to try! The service is great! They are very friendly and personable. Food is consistently tasty. They really get to know their regulars- and there are a lot of them! It's nice to take a moment to stop and enjoy a hot coffee and some food made with love. It's a bright spot in an otherwise hectic day full of medical visits.“

“This is a very pleasant place for breakfast or lunch. The food is quite good. The servers are excellent, both friendly and efficient. The only thing I have issue with is that the cokes are $4.00. Even in this time of often higher prices, $4.00 is too much. $3.50 would be appropriate.“
“Great breakfast always. Had western omelet with hash and rye toast. My favorite there.Hash is really good as is the omelet. The girls are very friendly and do a great job of ensuring that you are satisfied with your meal. It is a small restaurant and gets filled easily but I have never had to wait. Might be different for a larger group though. Definitely worth trying the place! Reasonable pricing too.“
“Loved this as The Whole Donut and love the new S’wiches version. Breakfast sandwiches are excellent. And the pastry? Anyone who thinks their donuts are like Dunkin’ is crazy! Fresh, high quality, interesting and super-tasty donuts that RULE over Dunkin’s, AND the donuts are like twice the size as Dunkin. Get there early on the weekend for an apple fritter. It will blow your tastebuds away! To top it off, the staff is professional and super-friendly. Love these guys!“

“Going to the sloppy waffle is always a blast. They have a great selection for brunch items. Getting into the restaurant can be a bit confusing, with waiting for tables and ordering being separate, but the staff are kind and want to help you figure it out. We got a the blueberry blast waffle and the very berry crepe. The waffle was incredible. I will definitely be ordering one again. The crepe was not great. It was crispy! “I actually go to the location in East Hartford... but both locations are delicious. My buddies and I from work go here at least once a week. The dogs are amazing, as are the burgers. Everything is cooked on the flat top grill, and as such, the burgers are not the big fat variety. If you know that going in, they are perfect. The staff is always very engaging and fun, the food is consistent, and I think the prices are very fair. Give these guys a shot... from breakfast sandwiches to lunch food, I have never been disappointed.“
