“The food was absolutely on point and felt so fresh. The portions were just the right size to leave you completely satisfied without taking home a doggie bag. The cheeseburger chowder was divine! This is a new favorite spot for my wife and I!“
“Upon entering Reid's Corner it looked like there were two types of seating to choose from; bar- or booth-styles. For a big person like myself booths are normally naot my style because of said spacing between the back of the booth & the edge of the table can be less than generous more often than not. Until I spotted a hallway leading to another room with tables & more booths & I asked for a table with no objections.Their three page menu had a lot to choose from. From omelets to breakfast bowls to biscuits & gravy ("breakfast bowl" -think of the "toppings" in the bottom of a pasta bowl with your eggs, the way you like them [I like mine over-easy] on top) with your choice of toast (white, wheat or rye). "Bottomless" coffee is 3 bucks extra & for a slight up charge, you also can get biscuits or a muffin or " toast" replacement offers; except pancakes (there is no side or "stack" sizes of pancakes offered, which is strange for a breakfast place). There is also biscuits & gravy, corned beef hash & other combinations of egg-style dishes to choose from.Reid's Corner also serves up lunch if you are not a breakfast person, as well.Overall the atmosphere, friendliness & attentive of the waitress staff, cleanliness of the restroom, were 5-stars. But it can get pricey with all the upgrades they offer since sit down & serve breakfast places in that general area of Massachusetts are scarce.However, I cannot wait to go back & try Reid's version of biscuits & gravy & their take on an Irish Bowl, not to mention trying them for lunch in the near future...Cheers!Parking: There are a few spots near the entrance to Reid's Corner. There is a step up from the parking lot to the sidewalk entrance. There is plenty of parking if you do not mind walking a few hundred feet from the main parking area, however.Wheelchair accessibility: There are no handicap spots in front of the entrance way of Reid's, because of how the "stripmall"(?) was designed. But it is doable.“

“This was my first visit to Chuck Wagon. Everyone says it's a great breakfast spot and everyone is correct. When I walked in, I immediately knew breakfast was going to be good. It has that great breakfast vibe. There are booths, tables and a counter with stools for seating. We sat ourselves at a table and were immediately greeted, given menus and asked if we wanted a coffee or something else to drink. The waitresses are all "seniors" and fit the breakfast waitress stereotype to the T. The tables and coffee cups have local advertising on them. So great. The breakfast menu is extensive, with eggs, omelettes, pancakes, waffles, breakfast sandwiches and combination plates. There's something for everyone. I am celiac. The waitress understood immediately and offered GF bread or toast. I had a Reuben omelet with the GF toast and a side of bacon. The GF toast is toasted in the same toaster as the regular bread but that doesn't affect me so I had the toast. It came buttered and the little jelly packets are on each table. It was GREAT. The bacon was crisp and thick. Very good. The omelette was large and well stocked with corned beef, cheese, sauerkraut and dressing. Excellent. My daughter had French toast with strawberries. The French toast was thick and well cooked. The strawberries were previously frozen but still very good. She also had a breakfast sandwich which was cooked perfectly and delicious as well. She also got a chocolate milk which was very chocolatey and large! The waitress came by multiple times to refill my coffee which is one of my checkpoints for a good breakfast spot. My coffee should always be full and hot during breakfast, and it was! If you're in Ellington , you need to check out the Chuck Wagon. It's a winner.“
“Such a surprise to find this perfect diner-like spot while at a hockey tournament in the area. The nicest waitress! The most delicious egg and cheese sandwiches! Delicious homemade waffles scented with vanilla! Good coffee with real cream! It's a lively and welcoming place and such a wonderful change from a chain.“
“I really really like this spot. It is cash only, so make sure you stop at the ATM/bank first. The food is very tasty, the staff is very friendly and if you go early enough you get to watch The Price Is Right. I felt like I was a young kid staying home sick from school. Order what you'd like, but try their french toast and homefries. You will not be disappointed ????? oh ya, and make sure you close the door behind you when you enter and exit the restaurant. ?“
“Gluten free French toast, she warned me of it being cooked on the grill with everything else, (for reference I have a gluten intolerance that speaks up quickly when I consume it haha) and it didn't hurt too bad. “Stopped for breakfast before a flight. Service was great and food was fast out of the kitchen. Small town diner feel with many locals in and out.I judge every breakfast spot on three things: coffee(7.3), home fries (6.1) and pancakes(6.0). Coffee was as expected, but fresh. Potatoes were grilled and seasoned but needed a lot more cook time. Pancake was cooked dark on one side and barely on the other making it rubbery.Overall we were satisfied with our food and will definitely stop again before a flight out of BDL“
