“I made a reservation here on a Saturday for a date night with my wife and we had a great time. The atmosphere was cool. The service and food were all very good. (We had Cuban Sliders, Calamari and loaded plantain nachos). It was nice to have a unique restaurant experience for a change. It’s the type of place that everyone in the area should do at least once.“

The bar and restaurant was busy but Alex, Carlos and all of the staff hustled and the food was hot, tasted wonderful and of course left me wanting desert. This is our second visit here and we are absolutely in love with this restaurant. From its eclectic decor, super attentive staff to its fabulously fantastic tasting tapas and entrees....where do I truly begin. The owners ( Rob, is always stopping by to say hello and check in) are visible and make you feel welcomed, my waitress Alyssa was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was delicious. The pictures below do no justice to the flavors that pop as you are eating them. You can't wait to come back. Oh I almost forgot....the drinks....the best Sangrias!!!! Yes! Sangrias...Sangrias!! You must stop by.“

“I used to love coming here pre pandemic! I brought my friend with me from out of town and we were having a GREAT night with the bartender Dustin (who literally was excellent), and at the end of the night it was just my friend, the owner, and I. The conversation was calm and civil and fun and suddenly out of NOWHERE the owner proceeded to verbally assault us, calling us expletives and making us feel unsafe and unwelcome. We decided it was no longer for us and stepped outside, at which point he FOLLOWED US OUTSIDE and alternated between apologizing and cursing at us and begging us to come back inside until we left. I’m glad we didn’t go back inside as his behavior was erratic and potentially dangerous, considering we were two women and he is a much larger man. We were afraid and felt safer walking home (in Hartford that says something) rather than staying put. I’m bummed because I used to like this place, but it’s come to my attention we are certainly not the only women with this experience. Please be careful y’all.“

“We had an amazing experience at Casadoro! Mike was our server and he was OUTSTANDING! Super personable, all of his recommendations were nothing short of delicious, and he continously checked in to make sure WE as guests felt comfortable. His personality really made us enjoy the overall experience.

“Tasty food, but the service is lacking. My food came out wrong (the sever admitted it was wrong) and then she didn't key in a new entree so I had to wait 20 minutes before a new entree arrived. All of the other guests at my table were finishing up their food and they cleared everyone's plate as they put my fresh plate down. I felt very rushed. The service really took away from the dining experience.“

“I had gone here several years ago and was very disappointed. A friend convinced me to give them another try, so I did! My breakfast sandwich was delicious. I also picked up a chicken salad sandwich for lunch that tasted very fresh. I'm happy to add them to my food choices in town.“

The lemon dry-rub wings and stuffed pork chop with delicious sauce were out of this world. My wife has a allium allergy (garlic, onion, shallots, etc), and the chef specially prepared a salad dressing for her Harvest salad and salmon dish that she thoroughly enjoyed. Service staff (Candace) was also very attentive. We were heading to a show in Hartford and she worked with the kitchen to get us out the door in time. We will be back soon.“

“Did Uber for a friend who resides in a nursing home. He said everything was delicious and plenty of leftovers too (great portions). He had the clam chowder, stuffed salmon with crabmeat and shrimp, a side of white rice, and cheesecake. Definitely will order again and looking forward to tasting many of the other menu items.“

“When I asked at work where I should take my family for some authentic Pho, I was told to hit MECHA. we went today and it was superb! The staff were excellent and everything we got was top tier. The edamame, and mushroom dumplings were awesome appetizers and the Pho was awesome. I had the Pho King with the recommended greens and Thai chilis and it was the best lunch I've had in a long time. The limeade was soooo good. I can't wait to go back!“

Our server was so sweet because they don’t have onion rings on the menu, but she went in the kitchen to ask if there was any way my friend could have onion rings. A few minutes later, Carlos came out with a plate of onion rings for my friend who celebrated and said they were so delicious! “Great neighborhoodie kinda bar. Plenty of big TVs, large selection of liquor and beer, great food, great staff and a very large parking lot. On occasion they have bands on the weekends but not quite as often as they used to. I've been going in there on and off well before this place was called Maloney's and I can say I have never seen a fight in there.“

“We celebrated Thanksgiving 2025 at Casa Mia. The ambience was lovely. The food offered was a family style four course meal. I ate so many yummy warm rolls, I barely had room for dinner for dinner. The staff had a lot of customers to serve for the seating and the provided outstanding service. The restaurant manager was personally greeting customers and ensuring they were happy with their meals.
