She answered all our questions and honestly was a true gem to our whole experience. We order a bit of everything but what you do have to try is their pernil, empanadas, and plantains. The plates filled me up and packed so much flavor. Everything is cooked fresh and day of in the morning. “Came in looking for a cake they had some ready to purchase and take it was a very pretty cake I assumed it was a vanilla cake because it was filled with Bavarian cream but it ended up being and almond cake instead the cake was still fantastic and luckily no one eating the cake had any nut allergies. “The mofongo was delicious and warm even though I picked it up and ran a quick errand. The service was fast. I called the order and was told 10 mins. It was ready by the time I got there. The staff is courteous and place was clean. The only reason I gave 4 stars was because my order came with fried pork and the pork was fried too long so it was rather hard & crunchy. However I would definitely order again as the mofongo was soft, garlicky and savory (I got the chimichurri sauce on the side with other sides).“
