“I visited on a Wednesday which is open mic. The bar is spacious with an outdoor patio which is a nice amenity. It was not very crowded and no one was really paying attention to the show. I felt bad for the comedians. I ordered the special appetizer which was nachos and empanadas. The empanadas were very good but the beef nachos not so great. I always order beef nachos and it comes with ground beef. These had little hunks of something that I guess was beef it just wasn't very appealing. The bartender Kat was attentive & friendly I met some nice people there. My review is mixed today but I will go back.“

Owner was present and kind, food came in a timely manner, between cornhole, pool tables, and arcade games there’s plenty to do. Live band was great. As a convenient halfway point for my two friends and me, we have the option to choose any bar within a 25-mile radius, yet we always gravitate towards your Middletown location. This is not only due to your excellent wings and beer selection but also because of the consistently outstanding service we receive. In particular, we always request Rachel as our waitress. In our opinion, she is the best server there. Her positive attitude is infectious, she always makes us feel incredibly welcome, and she is exceptionally attentive to our needs. Her dedication to providing such excellent service is very important to us and truly embodies the qualities one looks for in a server, reflecting very positively on Sliders. Because of the consistently great service, particularly from Rachel, we make it a point to visit Sliders Middletown at least once a month, and often more frequently. “Finally made it here after years of driving by.

We started with a Pineapple jalapeño margarita while we snacked on some coconut shrimp. We also got barbecue ribs with cheesy potatoes, and the meat literally fell off the bone, everything was so juicy and tender. The Cajun bacon chicken wrap was packed with chicken, bacon and lettuce, not your typical wrap where the end is just breading. Very filling and delicious

We came on a Saturday during the Berlin fair so there was no one there. We sat outside to enjoy the trains passing and service was prompt for the one server working

“With warm weather in June, we sat outside on The Oak Patio to watch musician Timmy Maia cover well-known songs. The Oak Patio serves the TimeOut Sports & Pizza Bar menu which includes usual pub fare such as burgers, gourmet pizza, appetizers, salads and sandwiches plus a few high end dinners. Full bar with craft beers in addition to a good selection of wine. Arrive early if you want to sit in the comfortable sectional and seatings in front of the stage inside the fenced in area. Our friends got there an hour before the show and we still could only be seated at a table for four outside the fence, which allows diners to see the entertainment but through the iron bars.All of our food and drinks were very good and served in a timely manner: coconut shrimp, calamari and nachos for starters. Kobe burger with bacon and fried egg; French dip handheld sandwich with sliced beef, cheddar and au jus; Jerry Pizza with mushrooms and pepperoni.My partner, an old friend of Timmy's wanted to say hi during intermission so we went through the lobby of the Doubletree hotel by Hilton Hotel where this venue is located in Bristol, and went inside the enclosure so they could shake hands, catch up and take some photos. It's a nice place to get out and have a meal with or without a band. There's a lot of greenery, palms, plants and white lights under a white tented roof for the enclosed main area.“

“Honestly it depends on the night but usually it's a pretty chill vibe with good drinks and darts. this is a perfect pregame or after party spot in my opinion especially because it's usually a food truck out there really late till like two in the morning.“

“The Elbow Room is an awesome venue, the food and drinks they have are great and reasonably priced, I'm a big fan of their wings and tacos. I go to the open mic comedy nights on Thursdays, and I throw fun comedy shows/parties in the basement around once a month on Fridays with about 50 people, and everyone always hangs out on the rooftop after now that the weather is warmer. The Elbow Room is a staple of West Hartford and almost everyone knows about it.“

“Great food, friendly staff, seemed to offer a lot of games and activities would be more fun to go in the evening. Pool tables and arcade games. We went for lunch, a local spot for sure, everyone knew each other. Have to come back in the summer to play volleyball on the courts.“

“If you don’t mind fighting with traffic, Buffalo Wild Wings aka BWW made it well worth the trip. Located in the ShopRite plaza, it’s in the corner the plaza next to Moe’s…and has a separate entrance/exit for take-out orders which was a huge plus. Plenty of parking but I did notice only a few spots for take-out..people just part in the fire lane.
Now to the food…I’ve had BWW before when I lived in Danbury and am very aware of the atmosphere (grew up in Sports Bars). I got the app exclusive “20 boneless wings and a large fry for 16.99”..so with that, you can get a choice of any 4 styles of sauce and 4 sides per se..whether it’s just dipping sauce or celery, etc.
Fries were perfectly seasoned and cooked..the whole large fry didn’t have any cold, none tasted burnt and not like most places where some are seasoned, others aren’t..on to the wings..Caribbean Jerk, Sweet BBQ, Honey BBQ and Lemon Pepper. It took me 2 sittings to eat the wings as to be expected because unlike fries…wings can be reheated. These wings did NOT disappoint. There’s a reason why BWW has taken over the wing industry and leaves everyone else miles behind in the dust.
1-5…4.7 and on a 1-10…9.8. If don’t know what it’s like on a day when there isn’t football as far as volume goes..but it was wayyyyy too loud and I couldn’t imagine what it would be like with the place jam packed with people drinking and cheering on their teams. Being one who suffers from vertigo, my only recommendation and why I took off a percentage of a point..maybe hopefully some day they could do it to where they could bring it to the car as a true curb service. (They might do that already, I don’t know and didn’t notice). I’ll definitely be back again.“
