“Wow! This is the second time I’ve eaten at Aki… simply amazing! Great drinks, fabulous appetizers and amazing hibachi and sushi/ sashimi. Our server was excellent and all the staff cater to all their clientele. Wherever you eat your Asian… stop and try this! They even gave me a side of Tobiko which is not on the menu. 5 stars!“

“This is our go to local sushi place. They have an expansive offering and everything we've gotten has been delicious. We have yet to dine in, but takeout is seamless : order through the website which gives accurate wait times and food is ready to go when you arrive. I'm always on and out on literal seconds. “Went there for first time ever. Took the ACYE option. Salad was good. Soup was good. All food tasted fresh and delicious. Yakatori was good. Sashimi was good. Sushi rolls were excellent. Lots of flavor. Portions are smallish, but allows you to sample more of the menu. Felt the price point was accurate. Staff was attentive and great. Will definitely go again. Ps. Green tea was a nice complement to the meal.“

“My friend and I had lunch today here. Yokohama Restaurant is wonderful. The food is delicious, the wait staff courteous and friendly, the prices are very reasonable and the restaurant is casual with nice background music. It is not a fancy place at all, but that didn't matter to us. We shared the steamed vegetable dumplings which were delicate and delicious, the fried calamities which was very crunchy with large pieces of squid and the best I've ever had. We each got a box lunch which is $15 and includes 3 shumai, 4 pieces of California roll with wasabi and pickled ginger, white rice and the main event - mine being the shrimp tempera included 2 huge shrimp and vegetables tempera. My friend had the chicken teriyaki box lunch and both were delicious. And somehow we decided to get dessert, and split the mango-raspberry sorbet which was lovely. We will definitely return to Yokohama!!!“

“Amai Sushi has the best quality fish and seafood in Brookfield! Amber, the owner is wonderful. She takes time to suggest and explain offerings. I recently had the pleasure of the 10 course Omekase. What a beautiful a scrumptious meal! A birthday treat from a dear friend. Definitely worth the splurge. Buttery sushi, delicious uni (sea urchin roe) and a small piece of highest quality Kobe beef. Great king crab and avocado appetizer and scallop hand roll. Caramel custard dessert. Delicious chilled plum wine. Worth the splurge!“

“I live 1.5 hours away and every time I've come here has been a 10 out of 10. I first discovered it while in the area and now I return every month, its that good! I've gotten the tuna tartare, manhattan roll, and mandooguk soup. All are so fresh and absolutely divine! The soup gelatinized to rock solid in the fridge and thats how you know its full of gelatin and all the good stuff from a homemade bone broth base.

Last time I was here, Jay (owner) even checked in on me via tex to double check I got home safe because a snow storm was rolling in as I left. Very good hospitality and quality. This is what every family owned business should be like, the only thing I'd change is to have it closer to my house!

I also love how they add little samples of extra goodies on the side. I love the marinated radishes, crab salad, cucumber salad, and another very yummy korean sample.“
